Xmas being celebrated at breakfast on 20th November. Difficulty of parking car locally. Decoration harks back to a bygone age.
Good value, fairly central location in Kendal. Friendly helpful staff.
Bit faded - not a problem for me - terrible breakfast coffee! (instant? very weak). But reasonably good value for money.
Simon was lovely and accomodated us well ! The hotel was in a great location and did us great for what were needing .
Room was a little grubby in places dirty cups shower wasnt cleaned great .
Staff helpful and friendly.Breakfast beautifully cooked. Rooms and bedlinen newly reburbished; fresh and clean.
Noise of extractor fans below our window woke us earlier than we would have liked. Wiring and shelving in alcove in dining room looked a bit 'Heath Robinson!'
Reasonable tarrif and easy access to town centre
Dated decor, also difficult to plug in kettle due to acces to power point behind table unit.deep bath therfore for an older person not easy to get in and out, grab handle needed
The staff were friendly and welcomed us on arrival. They also gave us useful info on Kendal and surroundings.
The helpfulness and efficiency of the staff
Our double bed was a little on the small side
Room rather shabby and cold
