Our room was uncomfortably hot, and although she was unable to move us the first night as there were no available rooms, she provided us with a fan and ice to help cool the room and a sheet to use rather than the duvet. Cons (-) We were in Inverness during a heat wave. The first night (of two nights) we were in a small room on the top floor. Since there was no air conditioning and no breeze, it was uncomfortably hot, preventing us from sleeping. Cons (-) I was on the first floor and the noise from traffic outside on the main road was terrible, with the windows constantly shaking loudly. The windows aren't double-glazed and even passing drunks shouting and swearing sounded like they were in my room.
