I am writing about a recent experience I had with Hertz rental. I had rented a Tesla with the Alamo heights location. When I picked up the car, I noticed the dashboard said tire pressure low, and I brought it to your agents attention, but I was told that the sensor was broken. I asked if I could get another car or the sensor issue could be fixed, but they said that was the only car available and I had to drive a week with a broken tire sensor. For the week that I had the car, the tire pressure kept going down (from 29 to 21psi, when the standard is 41) and I had to stop multiple times to check the tire pressure and go back to the Alamo heights rental location to check whether the tire was indeed deflated. Your agents never fixed the broken sensor issue, and I had to drive worrying about a real or fake flat tire. This made our trip in San Antonio very stressful as we were traveling with a baby and safety was our priority. We kept worrying that we would be found with a flat tire in the middle of the road in a city far away from home. This experience made me have doubts about renting from Hertz in the future. When traveling to another city, I need a reliable, safe car more than at home. Hertz was not able to provide me with a reliable car.Reviewed 26 May 2023

When I booked the vehicle, the total charge did not include a facility charge of 27.32. Additionally, there were no notes or notification that there would be a facility charge let alone the amount. When I asked Hertz customer service about this since I was not aware, they said I did not have to take the car if that was an issue. Poor customer service on Hertz's part.Reviewed 22 Mar 2023
