I really liked the vehicle and drive. Only let down I stopped at a restaurant in McAllen to eat and a tiny pebble hit the window and cracked the glass for which we had 2 insurances thankfully. I know this is outside the scope of this review however it was a negative conclusion to a wonderful journey.Reviewed 17 Jun 2021

Pros:SUV was REALLY nice! Drop off was perfect! The employee was super friendly and assisted me in making sure all of my belongings were out.Cons:The employee when I picked up at San Antonio International the agent tried to sell me an “upgrade” from a premium SUV to a minivan. Luckily I checked before I left and the “upgrade” would not have been as nice. The employees up top allowed me to switch back the SUV and the rest of the rental was perfect!Reviewed 31 May 2021

Pros:drop off was greatCons:very long line and wait at sales counter where I was told I would have my choice of cars. When I got to garage there where no cars. another long wait then my car finally arrives. I have no choice but to take some japanese scrap metal Nisson. I head to the exit and find another long line and wait. After getting my luggage it took me 2 hours to get a rental car I had reserved weeks in advance and leave the airport. Pros:NothingCons:I would have gotten a car. Nobody was there to provide my rental. It screwed up my car rental for the week, due to holidays, no cars being readily available, and holiday closures. I called Dollar and Priceline with no resolve, except a refund, which is expected if you don't get the product you paid for.Reviewed 1 Jan 2021

Pros:Pickup was outstanding and the drop-off was the same but was new to me. Drop-off and go was new to me as well as the emailing your closing rental agreement, but that was great.Cons:Maybe pickup for local when renting.Reviewed 28 Dec 2019

Pros:Price was better than other rental car agenciesCons:Counter agent at San Antonio tried to talk us into buying Texas Toll Pass. We said we would pass on it if we could purchase at end of rental and it would cover all tolls we hit during the rental. He said yes, after having to interrogate him for 10 minutes! My son, hooray Millennials, said we could just set Google Maps on our phones to give us only directions that do not use toll roads. It worked out perfectly. We saved $120! A day or 2 into the rental we noticed that the brakes were making a grinding sound. We contacted Dollar and told them we wanted a new car. Had to run out to the airport in Killeen, Texas and trade cars. Rental counter agent wasn't very friendly. Maybe because she was working on Thanksgiving. Then when we turned in car at Houston Hobby we got another unfriendly young lady. I guess Dollar figures we will put up with their bull because their pricing beats the others.
