well shaped rooms with all comfort, personnel extremly friendly and qualified, nice beach area, gym outstanding, food of good quality but not amazing
nothing really comes up
I put my Maxmara coat for dry clean, when it come back its totally torn. The manager apologised for the mistake and and promised that the hotel will make it up on the following Monday. so i left the coat over there and came back home. Now its been a month and this issue still remain unsolved. I strongly feel that I've been cheated.
best part of this hotel is it is well run, the staff is friendly. Food in general buffet is very healthy, Awesome coffee bar. The gym is fantastic with a nice view for sunset. We felt safe. They had a fair amount of "gluten free" food options.
I wasn't particularly impressed with the pool and chair layout, very few of the chairs had an ocean view and you had to get up early and stake your claim to any pool side chairs or cabanas in order to access them. Activities were a little lame. The staff tried hard, but they could use some more supplies for their fun games (we were told there were no golf clubs) and the crafts were "make a bracelet" every day. I tried the new water bicycle class, work out was a little dis-jointed, bikes rocked on the uneven floor of the pool, Water aerobics would have been fine. The pilates class had sign up which filled quickly, then 1/2 the people didn't show. Evening entertainment is in the middle of the hotel so if you want to retire early you can't due to the noise. The hotel lobby could use a little updating, furniture and decor a little dull. Overall the resort had no flowers, just green foliage and cement. There is no liquor in the rooms and the bars don't start serving until 11:00 a.m. If you want to swim in the ocean, you may not be able to. Three days we were told the riptides were too severe to swim.
Food was decent, staff was friendly
Bathroom was outdated , knobs fell off, snack and beverage center was underwhelming , this has clearly deteriorated since my last stay 2 years ago, hot tub in room didn’t work properly, safe in room didn’t work , round trip transportation booked through hotel return trip to airport was 30min late from agreed upon time.
The a la carte menus for the restaurants had tasty food options.
All 4 of us would wake up sweating in the beds. It was awful. Also bathroom had a weird stench to it. The mini fridge had no variety really boring and no snacks. Staff managers were stars of the show while most waiters were not really ideal. Room service was incredibly slow and concierge was forgetful, we had to call several times to get a working hairdryer and lol we never got one!!!!
