The customer service was excellent! They (two different gentlemen) were polite and helpful with my calls about tolls before the pickup and were just as friendly once we got there. Everyone from the shuttle bus driver (who was very prompt and helpful) to the counter lady and the lady that gave us our car was excellent. We will definitely rent with them again. Was in Florida for two weeks and decided to use Ace as our car rental company. Check in was slow. Was told that many tolls in Florida wouldn’t take cash and if we wanted to avoid $50 per pay by plate invoice we had to pay $11 a day whether we passed any tolls or not. Total extortion. The car we received was a Hyundai Iconic, very banged up, stains all over the back seat. A few miles down the road after finally leaving the lot, my tire pressure begins to beep. My front right tire is down to 26 psi, but I also noticed two of the other tires were inflated to 49 and 51. This is way above the recommended 36 psi for this car. I put air in the tire only to have to put more in the next day. All the while, I was calling ace to find out what I should do. No one answered and no one returned messages for three days. I brought the car to a tire shop as I was outside of Orlando about an hour and they filled and adjusted all the tires pressure. Finally back in Orlando we went back back to Ace. After another lengthy wait, the guy gave us up with another car. I tired to add my husband as a driver because he had just flown in and was told it would be an additional $137. Hard pass. They put us in another Hyundai Ionic. This one had completely bald front tires with one of the tires having a large knick in the rubber. We have two young children and this car was also not road worthy. We requested another car. The Nissan Sentra was in much better shape but whatever wax they use on the cars make it very hard to see through the window if there was any morning dew. If you need any help or have any questions on the lot, forget it because no one speaks English and even if they do are extremely unhelpful. Would not recommend at all.Reviewed 2 Mar 2023

Well they win the award for the worst rental car I've ever had! Nissan Sentra with 53k miles. One tire inflated to 50psi when the rest were 34, the windshield was so filthy I had to stop and buy window wipes, the tires were so out of balance the car felt like it was going to shake apart above 55mph, every body panel on the thing was scratched or dented, the weather stripping on one door wasn't attached to the door frame, and it smelled absolutely awful. I guess it was a lot cheaper than the in-airport rental places, but I'm not sure it was at all worth the savings.Reviewed 24 Feb 2023

we were quoted a total of $74.71 that would be due at pick up for renting the car for the weekend...when we arrived at the counter we were told we would need to pay another $70 for insurance...we kept telling the agent that our personal auto policy covered car rentals but she kept saying we needed to purchase a minimum liability coverage or we would not be able to receive the car...we even went to another agent at another counter and was told the same thing...the whole experience really soured our nice weekend togetherReviewed 13 Feb 2023
