7.0 Good
Pros: Unusual hotel with spacious rooms .
Cons: Disappointed the cafeteria/bar was not open during our stay ( arrived late afternoon ) and were the only customers of the restaurant for an evening meal.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Poor service. For a 5 star hotel extremely poor breakfast, have had better at much lower grade hotels on our journeys across Spain. Hot food at breakfast not pleasant, all self service with machine tea and coffee and poor choice of breads. Staff not interested. We had booked B&B for two nights but as breakfast not good asked if we could take second breakfast off our reservation by perhaps giving us a discount, as a show of good will, on the not brilliant dinner we had taken in the hotel on the first night. TOLD NO as booking made through booking.com. (NOTE: At this point we had not paid as booking.com said pay hotel direct). RECEPTIONIST took it into her own hands to ring booking.com who then altered the reservation and reinvoiced us WITHOUT OUR CONCENT. THIS IS WHEN IT GOT REALLY SILLY as the two night stay then cost more for two nights and ONE breakfast, so it would have been better for us if the booking had been left unchanged. Was not a pleasant experience as receptions got very up tight, got to see manager eventually but he did not seem to understand and said write a letter to them. We meanwhile kept calm and business like. Have tried to get in touch with bookings.com but cannot get through and no rely to my emails. For years we have been good customers and now feel very let down. If any one at bookings.com read this please get in touch as we feel we may chose to book elsewhere in the future. FOR US THERE IS A PRINCIPAL INVOLVED.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Room had stunning of the city. The gardens well laid out and good evidence of work being carried out to improve the condition. Food could be excellent but at times poor
Cons: The AC system, we were advised by the hotel staff works on the basis of it heats the room during the winter and cools them during the summer. I am recovering from prostate cancer and one of the side effects are hot flushes which occur approx 4 or 5 times per night. They are extreme and I therefore found the room too far too warm and could only get comfortable by standing outside the room in the garden to cool down. The ladies in reception tried to help but in the end admitted that the system is set up - heating during the winter and cooling during summer - that is not AC. This is not acceptable. We tried to registerer compliant through your complaints process but each time our message wasn't transmitted
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful rooms, really luxurious and crisp clean. I would definitely come back. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. We were travelling with well behaved dogs ( small surcharge) .
Cons: It’s up a steep hill, fab if your in a car but you need to be fit and healthy if on foot!
7.0 Good
Pros: Location,
Cons: The temperature in the room ( too warm; airco does not cool; temp in room was 25 )
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views from our bedroom were brilliant we could see the old city and the grounds and the city illuminated at night. The staff were very nice and obliging and the car parking was free and accessible. The food was very good and plenty of choice for breakfast. The rooms were spacious and the bed very comfortable.
Cons: It was too hot in room but they very kindly switched the heating off and it was then a comfortable temperature.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a good quality hotel and has a good location on a hill overlooking the old fortress city walls. Most of the rooms have an excellent view of the City. It has great parking and easy access if you're driving in from out of town. This was our second stay in that location. It is also close enough to Barajas Airport that it can be used before a flight if your flight is not too early in the morning. You can easily use it for a train day trip to Madrid.
Cons: They advertised that the restaurant was open from mid-day to late, but when we tried to go in for dinner at around 6:30 PM, they told us that the kitchen wouldn't open until 8:00 PM. While these late hours are normal for Spain, they shouldn't say it is open when it is not. We had to settle for pizza that night.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular view from the room on toledo! Quiet and comfortable!
6.8 Good
Cons: Staff were rude and seemed annoyed at simple requests. Requests also ignored a few times.
4.8 Okay
Cons: Staff was quite unhelpful. Breakfast was a mediocrity, almost ludicrous for a five-star hotel, with industrialized orange juice and a poor choice of cold cuts. Facilities seem quite dates, the last renovation probably took place some twenty years ago. Pricey and definitely not worth your dollar...
6.0 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: It was noisy

Pros: A little far from the old town , but there is a bus, just from the hotel entrance, that goes every hour directly to the center town which solve this problem.
Cons: Great hotel and nice team. Marriott stile. We enjoyed a relaxing and neat place. A big advantage is the hotel free parking.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel to stay in Toledo with a beautiful view. Very clean rooms and very helpful staff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. It’s not in the centre of Toledo, but easy to travel around in taxis

Cons: The weather was dreadful so we had to take taxis even to a restaurant 4 minutes away walking
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Free parking. Friendly staff and comfortable public areas. Everything well provided for.
Cons: Not to much
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We received an upgrade upon check-in, so our room opened up onto a big veranda with chairs and tables. It was a great bonus. The beds were more comfortable than your standard European hotel and the views from the hotel were breathtaking.
Cons: There is no free WiFi in the rooms, although there is WiFi in the lobby. Breakfast from the restaurant was very expensive ($15), and a lot of the services were closed since it's the off season.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Lack of parking space
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The location oustide the super touristic old town was perfect, the city regular bus line stopped right in front of the hotel, the staff was wonderful and helpful (special thanks to Cristina :-) ). Breakfast buffet was so yummy with good assortment of wonderful Spanish food and Nespresso coffees. Restaurant and bar nearby with great view of the old town. If weather permits, nice walk to the old town.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location and the staff.
Cons: Arnljótur Arnarson. We bought standard room with king size bed for 3 nights paying 90£ per night. Buying room in 4 star rated hotel you don´t expect to be put in a celler. In a room with small window faceing a wall. This room 114 should be priced down a lot. When we complain we were informed that the hotel was full, but we could try to talk to the staff the day after. In my opinion should the staff, if they care about their customer offer them to change roomms, and in my mind giving a discount, when they knew about our wish to change from this 114 celler room.
7.9 Good
Pros: + Free parking + spacious room and bathroom + pleasant staff + comfortable big bed
Cons: - wish Spanish hotels would provide tea and coffee making facilities in rooms. None seem to offer this. - asked for a room with a view when I booked 4 months ago. Got a sort of view of the city of Toledo from a very small window in end room.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable and had a charging port with a shelf so that was good. The terrace also offered great views of the city as well as an additional floor for coffee or tea. Staff was extremely helpful.
Cons: The only complaint I had with the Wifi because it was a bit confusing to connect to since there are several networks. Also, sound travels a lot throughout the hostel and the elevator was a bit cramped.

Pros: The hotel was in a great location , easy to access & with its own underground parking garage which I used for 10 euros a day . Parador de Toledo - Toledo - Building

₹ 12,026+
Overview Reviews
Located in Toledo, Parador de Toledo is within a 15-minute drive of Hospital of Tavera Museum and Plaza de Zocodover. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Toledo? This hotel features 2949 square feet (274 square meters) of event facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel might not be convenient if you'd like to walk around old streets of Toledo, but its location is rather unique and for a reason. The view from the patio of the hotel is stunning! you can have a bird-view of the whole Toledo. The view is no where else to be found and definitely renders the hotel worth staying. The building of the hotel is also filled with history and stories, old but the inside of the building has been renovated anew to become the hotel. You definitely want to include the breakfast in your booking as not just because you might find it difficult to find somewhere else for breakfast (given the unique location of the hotel) but the breakfast is excellent. Plenty of choices including local delicacies and more common cuisine. Strongly recommend.
Cons: Getting to/from the hotel might be a little tricky if you're not driving yourself. From/to the train station, it takes about EUR 8 for a taxi ride. Public transportation is also available (No. 71 bus) but not that frequent.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location My bed The restaurant
Cons: We stayed only 1 night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great
Cons: portions bit small in the meals. Also wine very expensive! Also, peddle bin in bathroom didn't work properly, annoying!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Views were spectacular
Cons: Nothing
7.7 Good
Pros: View was great from the Parador with clean rooms overall
Cons: Some staffs were very very rude. Which ruined our stay overall. The person working at the reception was rude and also at the breakfast cafeteria.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location! The Mirador del Valle (the viewpoint of the valley) is a little better for photography - however the view from the Parador terrace is around 80 to 90% of that view. The view from the Mirador del Valle is better because while the Parador is almost directly above (a few hundred feet uphill) from the Mirador - there are trees on that side of the hill which obstruct the view a bit from the Parador terrace. However on the plus side you can be sipping wine on the Parador terrace and have a great experience. In our case, we checked in to the hotel around 12:30 pm and went to Toledo town for lunch & sightseeing (Cathedral) by taxi. On the way back we stopped at the Mirador del Valle for 5 minutes (keeping the taxi waiting). Then we spent the evening on the terrace/cafe sipping wine as well as eating sandwiches/desserts. Overall the hotel facilities are good, rooms were good/spacious even if not outstanding.
Cons: The location outside town means that the eating options are limited to going to the Toledo town or the hotel restaurant. Looking at the menu, the hotel restaurant did not seem to have many vegetarian options (if there were any). We had to make do with the vegetarian sandwich in the cafe.

Pros: The location is great! The property was very clean and well taken care of. The owners are amazing and made you feel at home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful owner, perfect location (central yet quiet), comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hostal was everything I like about small family-run establishments. Muchas gracias!
Cons: There’s nothing not to like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostal is in an old historical building, so the bedroom still maintains the old traditional historical magnificent features. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Each room has its own toilet and they are very clean. The street is very lively during the day, but very quiet at night, so I slept perfectly and the location is ideal.
Cons: The place has no room to offer breakfast, but there is a lovely coffee shop 1minute walk from there. There is no 24hrs reception, but the host gets in touch to organise check in and check out and is available for any need.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean central very helpful owner indeed . Independent - the personal touch. Highly recommended. Run by a couple from toledo who know the city well. Quiet rooms are indeed quiet.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Perfect location in the heart of Toledo, wonderful room with balcony. The owners are very friendly, helpful and ful of tips for dinner, breakfast, what to do ... They made us feel very welcome. I forgot my mobile phone in the taxi. I called Miguel (host) for help. And 5 minutes later the taxi driver came to the trainstation with my mobile phone. You definitely made my day
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had two rooms at La Posada de Zocodover for two nights. From the time we arrived until the morning we left, Miguel and his wife treated us like family. Every review I had read was correct. Their warmth and helpfulness turned this little hostel into a 5 star experience. The rooms are small but thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. Although they do not serve breakfast they sent us a few doors away to La Pepa which was great, and Starbucks is right around the corner. The location was perfect. The first thing Miguel did when we checked in was to give us a map where he circled everything we should see and gave us restaurant suggestions. All were excellent.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Miguel and his wife warmly welcomed us in their hostal in the middle of beautiful historical Toledo. Miguel gave us map and showed us all places where to go/not to go and when. He recommended us café and restaurant, where he and locals go, food was delicious. Thanks to him we knew, where we wanna go, saved us time and money. Our room was perfect, super nice, super clean and quite. There was a small bow with candies, sorry Miguel we ate all chocolate. Our stay in Toledo was awesome, big part of it was thanks to our stay in this hostal. We are very much looking forward to come back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is centrally located in old Toledo in a really cool building. You are a short walk to so many historic places to visit. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. I slept so well here. The owners are so knowledgeable about the area and helpful. They even contacted me before I arrived with ideas in how best to get there from the train station. It was really nice. Miguel Angel and Gemma (the owners) clearly take pride in making this place welcoming.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Miguel and Gema are so welcoming and generous with their time and local information - all Miguel’s recommendations for sights and restaurants were great. It’s position right in the heart of old Toledo could not have been better - everything was within an easy, lovely walk. Whilst small, the perfectly quiet room was beautiful and traditionally furnished with a gorgeous enclosed balcony and a lovely outlook onto the cathedral and street below - perfect for people watching! Excellent, reliable WiFi and air conditioning. Room daily cleaned and stocked with toiletries, bottles of water and delicious little chocolates. A perfect home from home!

Pros: The owner, Miguel, was extremely friendly and helpful before and during our trip. He always responded quickly to our questions and gave us great restaurant recommendations. We also loved the location of the hostal.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff at the reception desk. Very attractive Hotel with excellent Location and very reasonable room rate.
Cons: A few small things that can be improved: 1) in a five star Hotel I expect at least two free bottles of water every day 2) no Kleenex box in the bathroom 3) staff was overwhelmed during busy breakfast hours. Breakfast items running out fast and being replaced only very, very slowly and after asking for them. 4) staff answering incoming calls did not make any effort to locate us in the breakfast room when an international call came in for us. As I said, nothing important, but should be improved.

Pros: The variety at the breakfast buffet is amazing, the location is perfect, the staff are very helpful and the rooms are great!

Pros: Excellent breakfast, very nice room and lovely staff
Cons: Bathroom a bit old
7.3 Good
Pros: very nice hotel , excellent staff
Cons: the location of the hotel is very problematic while coming with a car , very difficult to reach the hotel
7.3 Good
Pros: Within short walking distance of the Cathedral, old synagogues and other sights. Comfortable rooms; well designed hotel. Good value. Excellent local cuisine in restaurant; fairly expensive menu.
Cons: When driving, hotel was very, very hard to find in oldest part of Toledo (took us 1-1/2 hrs.), with steep hills, one-way streets; people on the streets didn't know of the hotel, or didn't know where it is; or didn't know how to get there by car. GPS had nervous breakfdown. Parking in the nearby garage was expensive (17 euros/night). This was the only Spanish hotel of eight we stayed in that didn't have a computer for use of guests. They advertise a spa, but only a very small exercise room is available free to guests; you can pay for a massage or sauna.
7.7 Good
Pros: Excellent location, great staff, modern luxury. Room was smallish, but well decorated with nice bathroom. A gem in the middle of an incredible old city. Staff very attentive and lobby and main area very impressive.
Cons: No iron, room was a bit small.
7.3 Good
Pros: The hotel was in a great location. It was smack in the middle of Toledo's old town. It was about a 5 minute walk from all the shopping and restaurants.
Cons: At night the streets of Toledo are full of young drunk British men and or unemployed. It can be a bit sketchy there at night and you definitely have to watch your back. All the tourists leave during the day.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location couldn't be better. We had our car and parked in the free lot across the river. From there it is an easy walk up the stairs or even the escalators are close by. The hotel is right there at the top of the steps so you don't need to drag bags all over town. The fixtures were new and there was ample space for 3 adults. I would stay again!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was silent, big, comfortable and clean. Check-in was hassle free. The hotel is really well located.
Cons: The mattress was too soft for my taste and there wasn't enough pillows to comfortably sleep. The floor with carpets is a kind of turn-off for me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very large room with 2 twin beds and a day bed for a third person. Large walk in closet. Modernized hotel on the main plaza with elevator and electronic door keys. Interior room #302 was very quiet although there was an air shaft for fresh air. Also a mini fridge with beer and soda but not overloaded so room for personal food or beverage preferences. Convenient to everything in Toledo. Booked early at a very reasonable price. Modern bathroom with good shower and hot water. WiFi was very good and able to stream movies on iPad. Beds were comfortable and firm without being hard. I didn’t have a car but parking and elevators up to Plaza Zocodover were nearby.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good heating system, good shower, good location, clean space, nice beding.
Cons: We knew they do not have a parking space yet they point you to a garage they have an agreement with. Unfortunately, it still costs 15 euros/ 24h. The normal fair would have been 19 euros/24h.
