People who is working are amazing. There is little bar in hostel. You can buy water cola alcohol and some snacks. There is yard for sit and chill. There is no plug near every bed. There is no curtain for cover your bed from light and people.
You have to push the button for water so it's hard to wash your hands and face on the bathrooms. There is only one english speaker.
Some lockers are broken and The breakfast is shy
Quiet street, good vibe, very nice and helpful staff. Well located near the Tiete bus station and next to a metro station, so getting to the center is easy. I didn't test the kitchen as I only stayed one night in Sao Paulo. There's a TV, a pool table, an open space with square tables, the eating area has a long table, good for socializing, as well as two computers with internet and a sofa. There's also a local bus station, so if the subway doesn't get you where you want, I'm sure there's a bus waiting for you. I would definitely go back.
* Only one toilet for men and 2 very small showers, and they are on the 2nd floor. * Brazil and breakfast doesn't go together... There's a reason why breakfast is called "morning coffee" in Portuguese... Two slices of bread, butter, tea and coffee and salty cookies
Beds do not squeak, garage spots are handy, large common area.
All the noise gets into the rooms, as the common areas faces the windows. People talking loudly and for such a long time after 1a.m. Some strange profiles in here (older fellows not acquainted to costumary norms for staying in hostels, common courtesy). Squeaky doors, lacks power sockets and bathrooms, plastic chairs mostly broken, staff not willing to go the extra mile.
Do Not have good thinks..
Dirty, very old and unworthy facilities, poor breakfast is hard to call it breakfast. I stayed for the 3 days I had booked and moved to another hostel near ana rosa station and its just another world..
