Pros: The hotel itself is beautiful and modern. It was very convenient to have a hotel so close to the train and metro station. Probably the best part for me was seeing the ancient Roman walls and tower that they have in the garden of the hotel.

Pros: Breakfast was great, many choices as well as local products. You can also order an omelette but it would take a long time to deliver so we opted not to. The room and bathroom were spacious and we had a tiny balcony on the 2nd floor. There is also a coffee machine and a kettle and a free bottle of water. The hotel is very conveniently located next to Roma Termini train station which makes excellent for those who travel by train. From there you can also go directly to Fiumicino Airport by the Leonardo Express in 32 minutes. The Metro is also a few meters away where you can reach all the areas of attractions like the colosseum, the Vatican, etc. We would stay there again in our upcoming trips to Rome.

Pros: The Hotel was located in the middle of the center and it was a good location as it was close to the metro and just 20 min. walk to Colosseum and 30 min walk to the shopping street, Via del Corso. The breakfast was nice, for those who like cake and sweets in the morning it will be very much appreciated. One of the person i want to highlight in the Hotel was a very friendly staff member Cynthia, who came pass by me and my Partners breakfast table and wished us good morning and gave us some tips. She was the one also showed us to our rooms.

Cons: Paid extra to upgrade but the room was sparse. Poor storage and really uncomfortable, unless you wanted to sit on the bed when you were in the room. There was poor storage in the bathroom, meaning our toiletries had to be kept on the floor. The air con/heating sounded like a tractor all night. The wardrobe was falling apart, the curtains didn’t close properly and being close to the main Termini this meant light in the room all night. The ceiling in the bathroom was damp and the wallpaper peeling in the bedroom.

Cons: We had high expectations because this was the third hotel we were staying at on our trip and it was significantly more expensive than the others (which we loved). Yet this was the smallest room out of all of them. The trash can and tea kettle were broken in the room. This was also the only hotel that didn’t provide a complimentary breakfast, they wanted an additional $150+ to include breakfast.

Cons: Wonderful property and location, but my room (which was lovely) was on the first floor and the noise level was pretty bad. I would certainly stay here again but on a higher floor. The breakfast, although good, left a lot to be desired for a luxury hotel. I was expecting better especially in Itsly where many like myself travel for the food.

Cons: The biggest issue was that there was no hot water. We were told that there was some municipal work going on nearby and hence the problem. We could only manage to stay there for 1 out of the 3 nights planned and after some discussion with the staff and finally the hotel manager we were offered another hotel nearby.

Only then was I made aware of password change. . Junior Suite layout was not comfortable.

Cons: The room was very small. You could not pull the desk chair out very far because the end of the bed was there so it was very difficult to sit at the desk. In fact, I am 5'9", 135 lbs. and I had trouble so a larger person might not fit at all.

Pros: Location is great. It takes only 7-10 mins to Roma Termini by foot, approx. 25 min to Villa Borghese, around 30 min to Colosseum and the city center. Cons: I don't even know what to start with first - someone from hotel's reception staff that has been making completely inappropriate attempts to get in a closer contact with me (from starting to call my room phone or texting me in whatsapp, etc.) or really thin walls which allowed to hear every word of what guests from the next room to mine were saying/doing AND from the apartment (?) from the other side of my room that did not belong to a hotel but made a lot of noise and did not let me rest and sleep properly.

Cons: We had a junior suite with tv on the lower level but also in the upper level by the bed and spa. After a long day walking around in Rome it would be nice a spend time in the spa and bed, watching tv. The tv did not work and they could not fix it, but the hotel would not compensate for the tv even though it was paid for. The hotel rooms were not clean, wall paper falling down, used facilities in the bathroom and it seems like there is overall strong need to renovate. The rooms are very dark, on the lower level, and you can hear everything what is going in the other rooms. We will not come back to this hotel again, no value for the money.

Cons: The bed was not the most comfortable and the rooms are not too spacious, but this is expected with a central hotel, so no real complaints! Our airport transfer was not there to pick us up, however after a quick phone conversation with Luca (concierge) he was quickly rectified this for us and a driver arrived at the airport in 40 minutes and he ensured we paid a discounted price as compensation.

Cons: we had asked for a triple room and we did get it, but they never mentioned that they gave us a double bed with two single mattresses that made it really difficult for us to sleep and it was the most uncomfortable thing in our stay. I recommend you check the room before you check in. We were staying for 6 days and I could not sleep well at all.

Pros: The only thing that was good for me was more or less the location. It wasn’t too close to the historical center but not far also. I could walk every day to Colosseo (for 30-40 mis) and it didn’t bother me. The breakfast was not rich but not so bad also. Cons: Plenty. Starting with the room. Due to the low budget I booked the small room, 308, but i didn’t expected to be the size of a bed. The bed wasn’t comfortable at all. I left with back and neck pain after 4 nights if sleeping there. The pillows were the size of the finger thin... and the blanket was not actually existing - it was more or less a thin decorative blanket which wasn’t even covered in bed sheets... i had to ask from reception to give me another one to cover myself with 2 of them (see the photo attached). Considering that I traveled in Nov and the day temperature was not low ~18 degrees. Coming from the window in the night you could feel the breeze, i was cold. The remote control for TV stopped working and couldn’t use it anymore. I don’t suggest travelers to go to this place for the value of money, it’s not worth it!

The location isn't pretty, but it's just a few steps from a metro station which gets you to the centre in just a couple of stops.
Cons: Our main gripe was that we didn't get the room that we were supposed to. The pictures we based our booking on were of a room with a double bed and a sofa bed (we had our 2 small children with us) and I believe this was also how the room was described in the text. But instead of a sofa bed, we had 2 single beds squeezed in. We'd specifically chosen a room with a sofa bed so that we wouldn't have a kids-falling-out-of-bed-onto-hard-floor situation (as happened on our previous holiday, which ended up with my son having stitches and a €300 hospital bill for us) so we were disappointed to have been allocated a different room. It was fine in the end, we pushed their beds up against walls and wedged them in with bits of furniture. But disappointing not to get what we'd booked. The room could also have done with some tea/coffee-making facilities. I would go back to this hotel, but would triple-check directly with the hotel RE the room I'd be getting before booking.

Pros: This hotel is in a great location. Don't be put off by the "look" of the surrounding area. We felt completely safe with some great little shops around and only a couple of minutes to the metro and termini. The hotel itself is very clean and cosy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a comfort room. These rooms aren't pictured on the website as they are smaller than any of the photos, but you're in Rome! Apart from sleeping we didn't spend much time in the room, which was spacious enough with plenty of storage, clean, cozy and comfortable. The shower was lovely! The breakfast is continental with meats, cheeses, yoghurts, pastries and some cooked sausages, bacon, eggs and tomatoes. Lots of coffee and juices. A quick review of Rome itself, such a beautiful place! I would highly recommend booking tours for the Colosseum and Vatican. The information and history you get from the guide is invaluable. The faster than skip the line tour for the vatican was very much appreciated as the queue without went right round Vatican City! The Colosseum and Roman Forum tour we were advised that entrance was free on the Sunday we went but we still took the tour guide and were granted a complimentary evening tour of a few other sights. So glad we did as Fabio, our guide for the Colosseum, is also an archeologist and he was so passionate about the history he spoke about. Without the guides we would've just looked at a building or an artifact and not known what it was or the history behind it. Have a look at tourist points on your map before you go as many are on a walking route together or surrounding a tour. Travelling around you must get a travel card. A 72 hour card costs €18 and gives you unlimited travel on the metro, buses and trams. You are never far from local transport and it is so easy to get around. If you stay at the Hotel Morgana, go for a meal at the Santa Maria restaurant at the end of the road.

Cons: Our room location wasn't the greatest as it was right next to the lift and stairs, and backed on to the staff courtyard. In the mornings you could hear the staff moving trolleys and chatting and other guests making their way downstairs to breakfast. So my only piece of advice would be to request a room away from the stairs and lift.

Cons: The hotel is serviceable - definitely not 4 stars as rated. The men who work at the desk at night are mean, lazy and unwilling to help (too busy playing solitaire on the computer) - be it asking for a towel or for help with wifi. Last year, the wifi internet was shoddy and I was told it was being replaced. This year, the wifi internet was even worse. It would stay connected for about 2 minutes and then drop. This made doing anything online painful.

Cons: I have stayed in hotels across the globe and this is honestly THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. First, when I book hotels I filter for a 24 hour front desk, which this BB claimed. They contacted me asking for a general check in time so I provided one. I contacted the BB to let them know I was arriving a bit late (which shouldn't even matter with a 24 hr front desk). I showed up 20 min late to an unlabeled busted up door with about 30 apartment style labels written in pen, one of which was "sweety". I rang it for 10 minutes and noone answered. I came back and rang it for 5 more min and then left. Some dude told me it was run by the owner of the chinese restaurant next door but they seemed clueless. I requested a refund for the cancellation since they misleaded me into thinking it had a 24 hour front desk and did not show up but they refused. My question is who rated this place a 7.9 on kayak???? If you did you are a bad person.
On another note: it's in a terrible neighborhood. If you don't believe me, I chatted with a police officer who told me no traveler should be staying in this area.

No personal attention, management never asked if were ok or needed anything.veey unprofessional as 1 of them in the restaurant was shouting to one of the waiters in front of guests. Overpriced awkward rooms painted all dark grey. You open the room door and infront of you is the bath which has no door actually. extremely overpriced bar and restaurant for a very very average food. Service was slow, had to wait 20 minutes every morning at breakfast for 2 fried eggs. We were never asked if we needed anything or if everything was ok. Just business meetings and seminars they paid all attention.

Cons: The room was very clearly a remodeled closet, with no fan or air conditioning. It was nothing like the photographs the hotel has posted online. I spent one sleepless night and found a new hotel the next day. No refund. Would never recommend.

Pros: Nice explanation from the stuff how everything works, the bed was comfortable and we apreciated that there was a hairdryer and towels. The locality is great, close to the trainstation, metro and bus stations and also close to the center when we wanted to walk.

Pros: The hotel is placed very comfortable in order to reach on foot all main historic Rome attractions and is 10 min walk from Termini where transportation to all parts of Rome is available. We were given a room combined with kitchen and we were pleasantly surprised that there was a fridge. The bed was comfortable. The region is pretty quite even in evenings. The garbage was cleaned from the room every day. And while we stayed there 9 nights we had our bed sheets and towels changed once which is pretty acceptable. We will definitely recommend it for a budget stay in Rome.

Cons: There was not always warm water in the shower. It was hard to set the shower in the way it was not freezing and not boiling. Also the fridge in the room didn't work.

Pros: Location is great. Staff was very kind and helpful and they have free storage for luggage although I'm not sure if they really check who picks up whom's bags. The bed was really big and the pillow high and nice. There was a ventilator even if I've never used it because it was too dusty.
Cons: The room was quite dirty and dusty, with spots that seemed not to be cleaned for a long long time. My window overlooked an inner courtyard which was very smelly so it made it quite uncomfortable to open the window. Cleanliness should definitely be improved. Plus, I know there are fixed fares in Rome but i think the price is quite too high for what it is offered.

Pros: It's a 20 minute walk from the train station, 10 minute walk from the nearest metro and 20 minute walk from the Colosseum. Pretty much at a good location. The staff was generally kind and responsive. The hotel and its lobby looks pretty and accommodating. Our room was way bigger than we expected and it was overall a comfortable stay which is all that matters in the end.

Cons: I was not expecting much for the breakfast buffet offered but at least something hot and fresh was a must. Instead, the scrambled eggs were cold, the croissants looked a day or two old, the bread was also old, the milk was expired, and it was just pretty disappointing. There's a bar area but when I asked for a cup of cappuccino, they asked me to do it myself. However, when another guest asked for it, they made it without hesitation.
For the room, you can definitely see that it is old. It takes forever for the water to sink down the sink. The shower is dirty but they do clean it on a daily basis. You can't expect much since the price is pretty cheap in comparison to others.
