They are not clean? Gabriela the front desk agent didn’t like black peoples from PR or Dominican Republic I asked her for a towel and she told me that I have to buy it???
Nothing. Horrible place. One or two staff were nice.
I had been there 3 nights in a row. I lost my wallet and after booking a 4th was told to get come in to work things out. They ended up having me on the street until the morning. When a the front desk girl Gabby had the police called on me and I wasn't even in the building but to use the bathroom and charge my cell. I was on the common area and she was well aware of my situation. Two officers came and did nothing for her because I was foing anything wrong. I stayed out front in my car until I was ready to leave. The place looks like a crack or heroin den literally nothing or no place clean there. I left a bag of garbage and a yellow stained pillow out front my door after my last night and two days later the garbage bag was still in the hallway. Disgusting place very dirty bathrooms. No wonder theres a shelter on the same street. I bet the cleaning standards and staff are nice there. Better off being at shelter.
The location was the best with shop store, food with in a block, parks, trains, and the staff sociable, plus the other guests very nice.
The beds, i wake up aching
The outside of th building was pleasant looking.
Roaches, rude receptionist. Was traveling for work in between patients and lost my apartment right before the quarantine. The second time I came to the hostel which was ONLY by default because the other place I wanted to book was full. Same price for excellent and spotless facilities. I was turned away because of my New York resident I.D., the only one I had at the time. I am an essential worker and they would not take me. I had even put a credit card to hold my room. The ill mannered, unprofessional, and under dressed receptionist was curt and didnt even care to listen as to why I was booking. Some New York State Law was imposed to turn away essential workers, whom work privately, hmmmmmm?! I will have to look further into this. My job does not pay for my place to stay, I have to pay myself because they are private contracts. It's hard for me to understand why New York State would create a law to turn essential workers away that have ro pay for their own place to stay.
That I got a key to the room
Bed gross uncomfortable no towels bathroom was disgusting the room was not even clean lm not going there ever again
