Breakfast was the only silver lining in the black clouds !!! Most amazing idli's I've had... Even the Dinner buffet was good, with plenty of choices.
The room wi-fi did not work from the very start, had checked in well past midnight, when I called the reception, the excuse given was that their server was down, next evening again same excuse, when I persisted, they sent a technician, who was able to locate the fault, which was a cable break issue, he fixed it and the wi-fi worked, for a mere half an hour after which again it stopped working, since I had my mobile data, I used that....(did not have the patience to again listen to their half baked excuses.... their intention was very clear, use your own data pls !!!! My room card key was not functioning so I had been given a normal key, and this was the excuse given to me on the 2nd day for not making the room ! That nobody informed me that I had to deposit my key for room cleaning should have come to me as "like normal" .... That the issue was sorted immediately and the room made up in a jiffy did definitely cool off my nerves. The worst part of the stay is that after 9 PM, the hotel guests are subject to physical frisking from bouncers of the 3 night clubs/bars/pubs which operate out of the hotel premises is a very rude way of treating hotel guests. I'm not against frisking, many hotels have this procedure, but then they apply it uniformly, all through the day, not only when the night life starts.... The feeling that I left the hotel with was that they are not really interested in the comfort of the guests who are staying with them, their primary focus is on the customers walking in to their night clubs/bars/pubs.... Being a frequent traveler to Mumbai, I will definitely avoid this hotel in future visits !!!
Nothing much to like
Room was not cleaned even once during the stay. Music was so loud and going on until 1 and sleep was impossible. Even after repeated complaints the music was not turned down.
Room was very dusty - I booked a room two weeks ago but when we arrived they didn’t have a double room for us. They ‘upgraded’ us to a suite but the bathroom was so disgusting no one in their right mind would use it. Seriously needs replacing. Complained and was given a twin room which had a better bathroom. Can’t understand how it’s rated 4 star WiFi was very very poor - I wanted to book flights onto my onward journey was unable to as no WiFi. Stayed up till midnight trying to get it sorted - in the end we had to pay fir another nights accommodation at an alternative hotel as ended up managing to book flight for tomorrow. Unnecessary cost me 5040 INR to stay in Mumbai. Appalling.. breakfast was reasonable and that’s about it Didn’t take pics - guess I should have done
