The concierge team members Edgar and Alex are amazing. I continue to stay there because of them. Nothing is too much trouble for them to help and give advice and more.
Great location with a beautiful historical atrium. Quiet room with all the expected features.
Water pressure and temperature left something to be desired, perhaps as I had a room on the top floor. Although the atrium is spectacular, outside of that everything is very standard american hotel, with absolutely no local character, which I felt was unfortunate given the price.
It’s the perfect place for first time visitors - the location puts you right at the Zócalo and it’s environs. There are two good restaurants inside the building although not owned by the hotel which gives the guest an authentic taste of Mexican fare.
The ante room of our suite could use more light.
Fifth floor terrace with stunning details if you check it out from Casa Pepe across the street. Tiled walls stained glass atrium! I believe it’s UNESCO listed but still quiet comfortable, modern. Great deal and two blocks from Zocalo, easy walking distance down the long pedestrian street to Palacio Del Belles Artes and Alameda.
Beautful, old building so plumbing a bit noisy, but oddly the occasional thunks when people were using water didn’t keep us awake at night.
Fantastic location 2 blocks from the Zocalo. Comfortable quiet rooms with good facilities. Friendly service.
Small room, small bed for a couple. American breakfast was bland/short on quality but there was plenty of choice. Felt quite expensive for what it was - a US chain hotel
