Pros: The hotel is lovely. Our room was extremely comfortable with an extroiderary view. The restaurant is special. The concierge made our stay even more special. Her recommendations and arrangements made were perfect.
Cons: The hotel is a ride to town and every ride just to get to town is 20-25 dollars each way. I wished the hotel shuttle ran more often. Some days we spent $100.00 just on taxis.

Pros: Location location location! - tucked away right below the train station and steps away for all the restaurants and shops. Very close to the water too. Hotel staff was helpful they had underground parking for a fee but once your there you get free.public transportation passes from the hotel so that more then paid for re parking. And the room- which was a top floor family room Had airconditioning- a luxury for sure in Europe.
Cons: Was hard to get to by car but in the end that's a plus as there isn't a lot of street traffic so it's more quiet.

Pros: It was a great base to explore Lugano. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. The hotel to close to catching a bus. You must get on bus number 2 at the train station. Hotel is about a 25 minute ride on bus. . Get off on the next to last stop. However there are no hotels close to train station So it appears everyone must catch a ride to get to hotel. It is easy to ride the bus to get to where you want to go from hotel.
Cons: The breakfast was good but not great. It didn’t take away from a great experience
