The bedroom was simple and clean. It was a very good price and the WiFi was free.
The bathroom was very disappointing. I reluctantly decided to take a shower even though the bathtub was yellowing and did not look clean. When I turned on the water, the drain was so clogged that showering meant standing in two inches of water. We paid over $20 for parking for one night, which was also a let-down as well.
Pillows, staff, complimentary items, shower, linen
Tight space expensive parking for hotel guest who are already paying for an expensive room and there was a condom wrapper under one of the beds
I couldn't control the a/c. I called down to the desk and they said they would send someone to look at it and never did, and this was during a heat wave
Nasty greasy dirty bathroom Hall and room dirty, and decrepid
We checked in at midnight after a long day. First room we were given had someone sleeping in it and my daughter was traumatized by walking in on them. Second room was dirty with towels on the bathroom floor. Third try we finally got an acceptable room on 7th floor in the "preferred Starwood" area. I would not stay here again for any reason. Unbelievable incompetence.
nice staff helpful and quick. room ok location and value good for lax quick stay
shuttle blows! takes forever other hotels even the cheapies pass by twice in time this one goes by once. drivers nice though
Beds were comfortable
There was blood on my blanket
The staff was extremely rude on multiple occasions and unhelpful. Also our bed sheets had blood and hair on them. Absolutely worst stay I've ever had in my life
The room was clean and quiet. The bed was good, and the shower was FANTASTIC -- great water pressure and hot water.
Jackhammers. In. The. Lobby. Not even kidding. They are doing construction within the hotel behind thin curtains including jackhammering. It was so loud that I could still hear it after walking out of the hotel and down the block. Ridiculous and totally unacceptable. If you're going to jackhammer inside the hotel, you need to close it down while you do it -- sorry, that's just the way that works.
Pool was nice
Construction noise, outdated noise, noisy guests, uncaring staff.
Proximity to LAX and nearby car rental agencies
- Room was in the "updated tower", but was badly in need of an update - Room was generally dirty, stained carpeting, broken light fixtures, table lamps with peeling laminated brass like finish - Bathtub calking separated from tub and wall, peeling away - Bathtub basin very dirty, like it had never been cleaned at all - Bathroom generally poorly maintained and unclean - No ice machine on our floor - No ice bucket in room Front desk offers of help not actually completed, just offered. No actual attempt to remedy any of the concerns we raised.
Cleanliness, comfy bed, awesome customer service, very clean pool.
Paying exrta for parking.
Loved that the bar and kitchen were still open when we got off an 11pm arrival. Food was good too.
The shuttle is rundown and dirty. It is not solely owned by the hotel so I'm not sure how much fault to apply to the 4points Sheraton.
very slow crowded elevators
The staff from check in to the restaurant and valet we exceptional.
Thin walls, small room, little amenities, broken TV and maze like hallways.
No refrigerator or microwave, one small bottle of water, one small be of soap, maid woke us up at 8:15.
I checked in and went up to my room to find out there was some one still in there. When I went back down the lobby she told me that no one reported that they were a late check out. i was not charged for parks g for the mix up all though I think they could have done a little more.
I was suprised that we didn't hear no airplanes flying by or taking off.
Wasn't happy to be woken up at 5am by loud people walking out there rooms and slaming there doors shut. Rooms look a bit out dated and smell a bit musty also shower faucet didn't work properly.
Staff was very friendly and supportive, prompt in answering questions, and replying to request.
Parking space was not available even if I was ready to pay. Parking is very small and can NOT accommodate guests with number of rooms available.
Issues finding parking
The hotel is very convenient in location to LAX. .The staff was very friendly. Hotel was reasonably clean. The bed was comfortable and clean. Shuttle to LAX was wonderful and on time. Overall positive experience.
Redicilous charge for parking.
The customer service
The people that were staying there
Nothing good to say
I arrived at the hotel at 10pm and had to deal with 2 front desk staff members who were not happy to be working the late shift. I was too tired to argue, even after, I was quoted one price for parking when I called in 2 days prior. Over the phone I was told one price and at the front desk the price was $10 higher. I did state to the front desk clerk that I was not happy about the miscommunication. He could care less and exacted his vengeance at my voicing my concern. He clearly stated and wrote on the card key that I was in room 562. Tired after a long day of travel I quietly headed upstairs, only to find out that there is no room 562. I headed back downstairs and he mumbled a faint "My bad" with a smirk on his face. When I got to my assigned room, I would have been better off in the lobby. The room reeked of cigarettes although it was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. Everything in the room was old and worn. There was no soap and only one set of towels. You would have thought you were at a Motel 6 but I dont want to insult Motel 6! The bed was uncomfortable and I was happy to check out the next day to go to another hotel. The only thing good to say about the room was that there were no bed-bugs (I checked as soon as I got in the room). There are too many other options at a comparable price to put up with bad attitudes and poor accommodations.
One of the worst hotels I've ever been in.
Restaurant was horrible. Room stunk. Gross gross gross and parking is an extra $19.
I liked the location and that's it.
This hotel has two buildings, one is old the other is new. We stayed at the old one and it was horrible. The window inside our hotel did not have proper curtains for us to close to have privacy. It was sheer material so everyone can see from the outside in. The beds were UNCOMFORTABLE. This was definitely not worth the money. I stayed at the Windgate by Wyndham nearby the next day for about the same price and was SOO much better.
Quality, Service, Convenient location, full services, reliable Airport Shuttle Service, and easy walk to rental car locations.
Room was small for type of hotel and couldn't control room air temperature as there was no "room only" thermostat control in the room we had. Also, couldn't close out total light from hallway because the night curtain did NOT go all the way to the top of the window.
parking problem. sorry
Location in leu of airport. Very clean.
Room didn't have an exterior (outside) view.
have to pay for the parking
the hotel was nice and very clean i and my famliy were happy to stay there
the only one think we didnt like it it was the parking charge
My husband and I were not happy with the customer service and the room we got smelled really bad.
The place is a dump. You get what you pay for @ $135/nite. Rude check in people, carpets stained, smelly rooms, room service messed up my order and to top it off, late at night a smell started coming from the bathtub...a nasty sewer smell. The only positive thing about my stay was that the engineer that came up was very nice and offered to move me to a different room. That room was also musty and carpet-stained. When I checked out, the front desk offered to comp my parking ($21) for the inconvenience. Will NEVER stay here again.
some of the staff
The main lobby was the nicest part
The rooms are not that great. There are no places to eat around the hotel other than burger king and the overpriced restaurant at the hotel. We booked a two queens room and they placed us in a room with two double beds. He rooms were weird and overall not that great
The beds were nice and comfortable.
Hotel is a bit runner down. I have stayed before in the hotel in 2006 and 2008. This time the hotel is not as well kept as before. We had friends stayed at the Westin hotel close by and the hotel is better and the room was $40 less per day.
