Pros (+) Hot spring was very comfortable. Receptionist made a restaurant reservation for me.
Cons (-) It’s close to Kyoto station but a bit far from the main hot spots further north. Convenient to get to fushimi inari though

Summary of reviews
Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent service, highlighting the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The breakfast was frequently described as delicious, varied, and satisfying, with many guests noting it exceeded expectations. Cleanliness was also a strong point, with rooms and facilities generally well-maintained, though a few reviews mentioned occasional lapses in cleaning, especially in the public bath. The public bath itself was a major highlight, providing relaxation and comfort after a day of travel or sightseeing. The location was appreciated for its proximity to Kyoto Station and local attractions, though a few guests found parking limited and the walk from the station a bit far. Overall, guests enjoyed their stay and would recommend the hotel for its value, amenities, and welcoming atmosphere.AI-generated from customer reviews

Pros (+) The hotel is quite close to the train station, which was handy but the area it's in isn't the nicest to look at. We found it quite easy traveling around the place from the hotel. The room size was good for Japan and the staff were polite. It had a public onsen style bath.
Cons (-) Children were using the onsen as a swimming pool when I went. Not very relaxing. No staff around to stop this. That was the only negative.
