Same as usual, it's a very stable place so there's little difference between different stays. The common area is one of my favourite common areas in Krakow and it's location is great. Right in between the old town and kazimierz. Great value for money if you get lucky with your roommates.
What I didn't like was the quality of my night's rest. The floor of the room is making noise and the moment I woke up in the morning from the first guy walking around I barely slept until now (9:14am) This means I'm not rested and I blame the floor for that. (Plus the people walking around all morning) There was a small confrontation with the lady at the desk in the morning a few days back (stayed 5 nights in total, only 1 through booking.com) which was impolite and she had this energy I don't like to feel from employees who are supposed to be part of a service meant to please the guests. I wasn't the only one with a complaint about her impoliteness. Not so much with words, but it was her energy. The Kitchen was Ill equipped, but that's probably because the guests take stuff and don't return it.

Room was big, Excellent view (of Wawel, park) generally clean Location is OK, 10min walk from old town, Wawel a little closer There are 2 common rooms plus the kitchen, which is pretty busy
Corridors are noisy at night, and steel single door doesn't help. Woken multiple times on my first night, after that put spare mattress in the doorway to muffle the noise! Too many smokers, esp. Polaks. They smoke on the balcony, often with door open. Avoid the kitchen, esp. at peak times! Only one microwave for the whole hostel! No kettles in the rooms. I bought my own. Not much cutlery, only dessert spoons!!! Street was being dug up for new water/heating pipes when I was there chaos! Walk over loose dusty gravel.

Great value for money Staff very helpful and kind Room very clean, with a bathroom ensuite Personal locker Central and close to the castle Kitchen refurbished with whatever you need to cook your own food WiFi working perfectly
Overall everything was fine. There is no elevator, so if you have any mobility issue, it will be difficult for you to reach the different floors
