Pros (+) My husband and I stayed at Kohea Kai Maui, an Ascend Hotel in July 2018 for our end of our honeymoon on Maui. We loved the helpful and friendly staff. We thought our room was 5 stars with beautiful high ceilings, comfy bed, remodeled and spacious bathroom. We even took use of the microwave, toaster, and refrigerator during our stay. Pros (+) Beautiful grounds very nice staff.
Cons (-) I ended up with what I think we're bed bug bites. I had them on my wrists, ankles and feet. The place was very nice and comfortable. The cleaning lady even did the dishes. I've never had bed bug bites before. I was there three days. I had no problems until the third day. I moved here and am still on Maui all cleared up after I checked out.
