We stay here every year on our annual Jekyll trip because it is pet friendly and in a beautiful location. We had a little trouble with the toilet in our room this time, but it's the only time we've ever had a problem.

Pros (+) This hotel was very clean, the room was in great condition, and the staff were friendly and competent. Also, the room rate of this hotel were vert reasonable, especially considering its location and the time of the year.

Pros (+) Everything was top shelf. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean.
Cons (-) Breakfast was bagged, but because of Covid had no basis of comparison with what it might typically be. But no complaint. Excellent all the way around.
Pros (+) Dog friendly; it was a nice break for us and our doggies in a very dog friendly town and beaches. Loved the king suite with the balcony facing the woods. Very quiet and peaceful. A/C worked great, like that it had a mini fridge, microwave and HBO channels.

Cons (-) The elevators kept breaking, the whirpool broke, everything was dirty, sink leaks, fridge is too loud, pool was dirty. Fire pit broken. Breakfast was awful.
Pros (+) Proximity to Jekyll Island convention center is ok. At about a mile it is a long walk. Staff looked the other way about bringing alcohol and coolers out instead of buying from lobby bar exclusively.
Cons (-) Routinely one of the two elevators in the hotel was out. With an almost all conference attending crowd this made for backups at high traffic times.
