Very good location, 2 minutes walking from Reeperbahn, but still a quiet street. While we were there (only for a weekend) we didn't have to take any buses or metro - we could just walk.
The staff didn't seem very willing to give us advice as to where to go and what to visit although we asked them to. We had to count on the internet and what friends had told us to see in Hamburg. They do have maps to offer to you, but in comparison with other hotels, they don't really explain them much - so piece of advice: go prepared.
room is clean
the bed is the old-styled spring bed, not very comfortable
We could get a late check out without extra cost. Which was really nice. The employers of the hotel are really friendly and willing to help you in anyway. We could leave drinks in the main fridge as rooms have none.
I would have appreciate extra pillows as those ones are really flat, therefore a bit difficult to sleep. But didn't matter that much and I still had a good stay.
Good location, and free parking
The room was very nice but the Bed was a little hard and room was very small. So small you can barely walk around the bed because there is only 24 inches of space between the edge of the bed and the wall.
The room was basic, but overall confortable. We found the location very good, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby, located between the neighboorhoods of St Pauli and Sternschanze.
The pillows were too soft and the shower door didn’t close.
