They scam using false methods to enforce insurance customers already have with personal insurance and credit card coverage. Further claim scratch on car wheel that’s small was claim as damage to vehicle which they claim payment for. Terrible experience will NEVER recommend them to anyone.Reviewed 23 Jul 2025

Would not rent me the car as I didn’t have two form of proof of address for the address listed on my drivers license (I did have them for my rental address where I live). Only solution offered was to pay them a c. £200 up front fee as a waiver.Reviewed 28 Oct 2024

Wouldn’t use it again. We hired a van and from our initial inspection the van 1. Wasn’t ready in time 2. had a lot more scratches than on their report which we recorded 3. Had a broken piece of wood in the back which was not noted down. Poor.Reviewed 8 Jul 2024

Terrible. Avoid at every cost. They claim you’ve damaged the car when you haven’t and take loads of money from your deposit. Read the guardian article about them. There is a class action against them. They should not be included on comparison websites as it reflects really badly on that website.Reviewed 22 Jun 2024

I arrived, and they had the wrong car. They had an SUV-type 7-seater, but I booked a people carrier van. They didn't have any available, so I had to wait 90 minutes with 3 children for the car to be ready. They claimed the issue with the booking was with Kayak/Expedia, and they made me pay the difference in upgrading the car. I showed them the booking confirmation and the picture of the van/people carrier with 9 seats, but they still made me pay. I was so tired and knew I needed the van that I had to pay to get out of the place. The manager was helpful, and the people were lovely. But I find all car rental places to be borderline crooks. This just confirmed it again for me. There are ridiculous add-ons for mileage, car seats for kids (a legal requirement), insurance, and excess. The list goes on.Reviewed 4 Jun 2024
