Pros (+) The remodeling improvements are terrific! Completely new bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable, probably also completely new. The breakfast offered more choices than I normally see.
Cons (-) They are making renovations that are making the hotel much nicer than the price would indicate. While it was a bit dusty, the construction crew was friendly, accommodating, and quiet. In no way did the construction process diminish my experience. They appear to be nearly done.
Pros (+) We've stayed here several times in the past year. Good location: close to Foley shopping, outlets, etc. and a short drive to Beaches or nearby towns (e.g., Robertsdale). Good price point. Ez check in and out. Friendly staff. Standard breakfast/coffee.
Cons (-) The rooms and bathrooms were clean and orderly but some of them had air-conditioning problems that failed to remove humidity/moisture and which left a moldy smell. Management apologized, explained they are working on replacing a/c units, and put us in a better room.
Pros (+) Friendly staff with close proximity to about anything you could need. I had sausage and egg on an English muffin for breakfast and it was yummy (and hot). My husband had some of the small waffles b/c he wasn't hungry enough for a large one. He said they were good as well.The room was clean. It is not a 5 star establishment but for the price I was pleasantly surprised and would rate this as an exce...
Cons (-) It was rated a 3 star on one site and AFTER I booked it I saw only two stars so I was concerned I had booked a nasty hotel! This is why I was pleasantly surprised!
