The lunch and breakfast food was good, the room was quiet, the bed comfortable and hotel was a short walk from the centre / quayside which was very convenient.
The organisation of breakfast needs to be much improved - tables cleaned more quickly, enough cutlery / milk etc. available. We tried to eat in the restaurant on the first evening but only about 6 tables were laid for dinner and we were told there was no room. There didn't appear to be any Christmas parties so not sure why more tables weren't available. However, it meant we went to an excellent restaurant nearby and we didn't try to eat in the restaurant for dinner again. The spa / pool was ok, but the pool had to be shut one day after the pool was tested. There were only 3 lounging chairs available and it wasn't warm enough to feel comfortable - rather a disappointment I'm afraid. Parking was also a challenge at times.
Food not up to standard we had room service
Food no as good as it was in 2017
Good location Good breakfast Good dinner
Breakfast was above average and what I expected for this standard of hotel. It wasn't quite as good as Hilton ones.
The fried eggs were hard and over cooked. The bacon was the same. Otherwise, fine. Very unhappy that the taxi services could not come collect me in time for my meeting. I think your receptionists should have known this when I asked them to order me a taxi.
Good location, comfortable room, pleasant staff
The shower needs a non-slip mat as I nearly went flying. It’s hard to get a cup of tea at breakfast
