Hotel is fine if you are there to partyPros: Location was good, accommodations were fine, basic hotel, nothing special.Cons: There is a very loud bar across the street playing techno music until 3AM then people screaming in the street until 4AM when the bar closed so if you want to get any sleep, recommend not staying here.
Nice hotel lovely staff, ear plugs essentialPros: Location is perfect; right between the two central areas on Dublin right next to the river
Hotel staff were really lovely and very helpful
Breakfast was great!Cons: Rooms were very noisy through the night due to the hotels nightclub. I bought earplugs the second day which fixed that!
Rooms quite dark, could do with more light
Rooms probably due an update but were fine for a couple of nights stay
DO NOT STAY!! Unhelpful, trip failurePros: Great Location.Cons: Front Desk Told us to Park in their Garage..
Woke Up at 5am to go on our $200 each Prebooked tour..and the garage was locked, with NO WAY TO OPEN IT until 7am!!!! Completely missed our tour- whole reason for visiting Ireland!! Front Desk staff was useless, and their initial information was our trip fail. Refused to take responsibility for the issue!!
Would never recommend the hotel to anyone.
Bar downstairs also stays open until 3am, no matter what day of the week YOU WILL hear the noise.
Hot. No fans or Air.
Wifi only works in Lobby, but extremely slow.
Pros: Great location in temple bar with many tourist attractions right near. Very noisy till 4 or 5am because of being in temple bar but loved the atmosphere.
Wonderful experience! Pros: The location!!!
The bedsCons: Minimal plug outlets so charging multiple devices was difficult.
Comfortable stayPros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, near transport, shops & other sites. Able to open windows to get fresh air. Very quiet. Amazing decor and murals in restaurant, where breakfast was fresh and hearty.Cons: More coathangers & hanging hooks needed.
Good value for a base in DublinPros: Good value for the location! Walking distance from most attractions. Perfect for someone just looking for a base in Dublin and not planning to spend much time in a hotel room.Cons: Facilities a bit dated, but clean and in working condition. Very noisy, but that should be expected for a hotel in Temple Bar. Wifi did not work. Not ideal for someone looking for more than a bed to sleep in at night.
Good LocationPros: Good location at Temple Bar. Many restaurants nearby. Helpful staff. Good breakfast which may or may not be included in room.Cons: Looks to be in need of an upgrade. Not perfectly clean. Elevators small and slow. Not many amenities.
Great and easy location Pros: The location was key for me as a solo traveler. It's central to the Trinity College area, Dublin Castle, the Liffey River, Temple Bar and easy walks elsewhere. It is situated at the corner around 3 busy bars so expect it to be loud during the wee hours of the night. My fight landed super early in the morning so when I arrived at 6:30 am to the hotel I was pleased to find out my room was ready.Cons: The Wifi only works in the bar and lobby. I could stand in one corner of my room and maybe get a signal. The lighting was pretty dim and the king bed is 2 twin mattresses together, or feels that way with a seam down the middle of the bed and the pillows are a bit hard. If the cabbie you have doesn't know where the Paramount is when you tell them give the Turks Head bar as a reference.
Great staffPros: The staff here were fantastic and helpful with every request. Hotel was clean and close to Temple Bar.
