The view was great.
The carpet and the curtain were dirty. The air conditioner was laud and the internet was low.
The inside structure of the hotel is not convenient.
Close to Chinatown
No pool and the hotel looks run down. Entering the room you were greet with a smell. You can hear next room very loudly.
Fantastic location, ok selection at breakfast (2nd day we arrived at 9.30 and waitress thinks she’s the boss of her clients and put us under pressure saying “breakfast finish 10 o clock!” In a rather bossy tone. Customer service 0 for her) Receptionists where great and ready to help and also changed my 1000 baht for 100s for the markets, etc.
The biggest let down about this property was the so called “tourist info”. We talked to a man about getting to a temple that isn’t well known and he said he could take us for 2000 baht, but he included also the floating market and the train market. FAntastic! We thought what a great deal. We went to our temple and loved it, went to the floating market and he took us to one of those car parks where they scam you into paying 2000 to 3000 baht for fake stalls before you get to the real market, ah we felt the pressure and we thought it was just a lovely market with loads of fruit and local goods( full of horrendous tourist bull**** and every stall was the same until we actually got to the market and that was a disappointment. Pretty sure it’s a lot cheaper nearer the market as we’ve been told. So yeah watch out for the deals the tourist counter gives you, it might not be what it seems, or maybe ask which floating market you’re going to to research yourself :-) The mirror in the room was dirty, the door for the bathroom closed with a Big Bang and needs to be fixed, the room smelled terrible like fungus like it didn’t breath. We stayed in room 917 and you can’t open windows so don’t expect fresh air.
Location great, spa great, breakfast good, roof terrace lovely but drinks expensive.
Corridor carpet on floor 9 disgustingly stained. Ran out of eggs on our last morning at breakfast.
