Never had a chance to pick up rental. Upon arrival at the Avis desk I was told the reservation could not be honored. No call, no text and after an $80 UBER to reach the airport for the sole purpose of picking up the car. Needed to do a walk up rental with another company and paid dearly. To make matters worse, the Avis agent told me she couldn’t help with a refund. When I contacted Kayak as the agent instructed, I was referred back to Avis. So now that transaction is in limbo and I’m disappointed and annoyed.Reviewed 25 Jul 2026
