Central location. Very friendly staff. Large rooms. Towels changed every time we used them. Food and breakfast very good. The staff would help you with all your needs. Clean rooms and outside the rooms
Need a lift (specially to get to top floor for the restrurant) our bill was taken from our credit card when I wanted to pay in cash (was told on last day that they have taken the money) spa and restaurant a bit pricey compared to restaurants around the hotel.
Beautiful hotel in a very central location. My husband and I spent a couple nights at the Seyyida before heading to the beach. The staff were lovely - we were even offered free massages because we were on our honeymoon. The rooftop restaurant has beautiful views of the city and the ocean.
This beautiful hotel was just a short walk from central Stonetown and only a block from the waterfront. The dining terrace offered a stunning view of the water front and the ocean as well as gorgeous sunsets! The swimming pool was sparkling clean—a welcome change from other hotel pools we experienced in Tanzania. The food in the restaurant was excellent, breakfast offerings abundant, and dining service outstanding. I would certainly return if ever in Zanzibar again.
The were often mosquitoes in the lobby.
- the staff was amazing. They were so nice, good and helpful. - the room was so fine (seasight) and so clean. - the services to the room where amazing (water, cookies, mosquito spray) - the bathroom was really fine and so clean - the hotel was near to everything - the menu was so good. Also the chef and the food where amazing! It was nice to eat on the rooftop - we get cold facetowels when we get back from the warm outside to cool down. That was really thoughtfully and nice. - all excursions you can book are so near tot the hotel - the hotel is near by the town and the lokal people so you can see everything when you stay at Seyyida - we really came happy to Seyyida and go more and more happy away I will come back to Zanzibar again, and then I wil surely book again by Seyyida
Nothing. Everything was more than perfect!
This elegant hotel and the nearby area has a lot of character. The rooms were beautiful with rich wood and colorful Zanzibar bedspreads. Everything was sparkling clean. Rooms are air conditioned which is welcomed relief after a humid walk in town. The staff is friendly, accommodating and honest. They caught an error in their favor and immediately made it right. The rooftop restaurant has a great view of the water, wait staff were wonderful and the food was very nice. The included breakfast was very fresh and extensive. The location is close to shops and attractions. Hotel can arrange transport to the airport. Highly recommended.
Rooms up front can be noisy due to the rich street life surrounding the hotel. We enjoyed being exposed to real life in Stone City.
