Please tell kayak to take off the car insurance offering they have on their web portal. U-save refused to allow me to use the collision and liability car insurance I purchased which was offered on the kayak website. The only car rental company that didn't accept our Liberty Mutual California liability limits. The total cost was over double the quoted rate. Also we got pulled over by the police due to expired plates.Reviewed 16 Apr 2025

It was a huge waste of time. They didn’t want to accept the insurance coverage I purchased. They refused to sell me any coverage as well and said I had to use my own car insurance as coverage as well as hold a 1500$ deposit. The location was creepy in the evening. I had a terrible experience with this company. They do not accept any insurance other than their own, and if you have already purchased insurance elsewhere, they simply refuse to give you the car. If you decide to buy their insurance, you’ll be faced with an outrageously high price, much more expensive than any other rental company. On top of that, their staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I would strongly advise against renting from them.Reviewed 13 Feb 2025
