The staff at the Thrifty car rental office were helpful. The car I rented was in the worst shape of any car I have ever rented from any rental company. There were numerous dents, scratches on the exterior and stains on the interior seats. There appeared to be two spare tires on the rental car.Reviewed 18 Feb 2026

I got the vechile with low fuel, I was expected to fuel the tank to drive it, then bring it back with a full tank. Gotta love it l, paying for someone else's gas. Be prepared at this location for that to happen.Reviewed 28 Jan 2026

We reserved a car twice through Thrifty at the Montevideo airport. The first time they responded that they couldn't fulfill our reservation. Then we saw availability again, and reserved again. This time no reply, but we called to confirm with them a few days later. They said they did not have any cars available and could not fulfill our request.
