If your flight to Fairbanks is late CALL if not your booking will be canceled like mine. They gave the car away but found me one. Also bring a copy of your car insurance so you don’t have to buy insurance (Fairbanks AK). This was not told when renting the car from KayakReviewed 3 Apr 2022

Extremely high price. The vehicle had not been properly cleaned prior to picking it up. I arrived early for pick up and had I not asked I would have been charged for an entire extra day So I waited around for an hour. The person at the desk refused to do the walk around with me and made wanted me to document the damages prior to leaving. She said they didn’t have enough people to spare due to Covid but there were 3 people in the office and nobody else in the line.Reviewed 21 Mar 2022

Everything was great! The lady at the counter went above and beyond helping us. She gave us her extra personal water and Gatorade and also helped lead us out of the car rental parking area. It was really hard to get out of the lot since it was snowing and we couldn’t see the exit signs.Reviewed 16 Nov 2021

Budget is terrible. Not sure if all budget locations are like this but I would never recommend Budget in Fairbanks, Alaska. I originally reserved a car for 07/09. I called the day prior that I would be landing at midnight, so I wouldn’t be there to get the car right at 9:00 PM. The person on the phone did not update the reservation so when I showed up at the desk at 12:30 AM, I was told that my car was given away and they didn’t have another car to give me. They basically told me that I was out of luck because the person I told about my reservation change, didn’t change it in the system. I will avoid Budget car rentals in the future.Reviewed 16 Jul 2021
