Friendly staff. Good restaurant service.
A colleague and myself stayed in two separate executive rooms and both had the same problems with our overall stay. The list of flaws: 1) The beds are rock hard, couldn’t sleep at all. 2) Temperature in the rooms are unbelievably hot, due to the hall way heaters being on full during the day and night. So bad even on the coldest day in Britain this year with the window open all day/night. The room was unbelievably hot during the night. Summer time this place must be one of the worst places to stay no air conditioning or fans. 3) Shower head is fitted in the most awkward place. If you 6ft1 and above be aware of your head hitting the shower head. 4)Bathrooms are outdated. 5) Rooms were outdated and rubbish quality for the title executive room. Stayed at cheaper hotels that have better quality bedrooms and bathrooms. 6) Sign outside for the hotel is barely visible. The writing blends in with the back ground drove straight past the hotel. Probably a sign saying find something else. Overall the customer service is great, the quality of the rooms, beds and bathing facilities are awful. First time staying at the hotel for 4 nights, definitely the last time, would rather pay extra else where. The place have great potential but the quality of the rooms aren’t good enough in today’s market.
The bedroom was cold and the radiator was off and not adjustable. The bed mattresses were very soft. The chain on the door was broken. The breakfast was poor - ran out of food, not kept replenished, I paid £12 and ended up with two slices of toast and a cup of lukewarm tea.
Room wasn’t cleaned properly and generally a very noisy hotel with guest shouting in the corridors until the early hours
Warm and good facilities
Windows need upgrading
We’ll to be honest I didn’t like it this place at all I went to the room there is no heating no internet tv isn’t working been trying to ring them no one answering the phone then my misses ring them from her mobile the manager came up he was rude he wasn’t giving me a chance to tell him about stuff he was argue back with me then he calm down he goes I will give yous too nice breakfast in morning which I ring in morning 9:20 they said breakfast time finish I came all the way from Scotland and I would never come back to the place again really disappointed
