Beautiful location, room was nice and staff very friendly. We had dinner at Estaven’s and really enjoyed dinner
Location and staff
The Room was well maintained. The staff was prompt when asked for service, and the bed was quite comfortable. The property while near the center of town, was very quiet. The restaurant was excellent,
The bar and lounge could be upgrade with some more comfortable seating. Parking in the garage could not accommodate all cars. At times cars were blocked in .As a fee is charged of $25.00 per night per car, the process for retrieving cars could be better explained upon arriving at the hotel.
Location. It was clean.
Parking is awful. Garage is cramped and does not accommodate the number of guests at the hotel. I was asked to “double park” which would block three other cars, and those across the aisle are so cramped they could not leave without risking a wreck. I refused to double park, fearing damage to my car. Only then was I offered accommodation in a dirt lot a block away. The room was weird, I had a “200” room. Eventually, I found a stairway leading to my room and hauled my bags up the stairs, only to find the key did not work. Hauled bags back down the stairs, and the front desk then advised the entrance to my “200” room was on the third floor. There was an elevator to the third floor, and the key worked. The room had a staircase in the middle that led to the non-operative door. Took a lot of square footage and broke up the room in a strange way.
We loved it even if the the first night was a bit rough ... we would come back in the spring!! Or summer!!! ...
When we checked in the front desk was not at all helpful ... we checked in late and cold ... the television was not working ... we were not sure how to use the heat ... no help with luggage’s could not find a place to park when checking in... breakfast??? Some cobwebs check the rooms ..
