North Charleston hotels near Fire Museum

Cons: I had issues with the room because it was by the terrace where you have all the ac units and I couldn’t sleep all night because of the loud noise.

Cons: Tried to cancelled since on wrong day with hotel and the online site I made reservations. No response from either.

Cons: Run down. Heat didn’t work in first room

Cons: The bed was ridiculously hard. The air conditioner rattled all night .

Cons: Some airport noise, which was to be expected.

Cons: Didn't love being in being in an outlet complex, but you can't blame the Crowne Plaza for its neighbors

Cons: Some noise reduction from the lobby would be nice and to clean the trusses from the lobby where it looks like mold is growing

Cons: Pretty much everything. The room had a very very strong cleaning odor. I waited for a front desk clerk for almost 10 minutes. It was 2:30p. I guess she had her kids? I am usually treated well as a Marriott member. I was extremely surprised to see a very run of the mill for what I paid. I wanted to stay at Marriott because I am faithful, but this was not a good one for me. For $200 I could have gotten a beautiful room someplace else. The television reception was awful. It was downright snowy and almost unwatchable. Shower pressure was weak. Shower head was really terrible. Terrible. The room itself was uninspired design and wasn’t thoughtful space wise. The bed was nice. That’s about it. Actually the pillows felt like non-Marriott pillows. They weren’t as good. Bud the bed itself was comfy. Again I was very surprised and wonder now if I was given the wrong room. But I was dead tired and too tired to fight about the room, the tv, waiting, etc etc. sometimes when everything goes wrong you just don’t feel like or have the energy to complain, you feel what I am saying?

Cons: Nowhere to take a walk & the pool was closed (for the season) which we were not told when we made our reservation. Bistro was minimal and no where else to go. North Charleston was pathetic.

Cons: Nothing needs to be done better

Cons: Booked my room with kayak, and prepaid. When I arrived to the hotel, I wasn't allowed to check in without prepaying for my room.... showed her my charge/confirmation email and told her I would leave a card for incidentals. She charged my card a second time anyway. This is a company card and now I have to answer to my boss about why there are two charges and I have no receipt. Asked to speak to the manager, she said he would be back in 10 minutes and would call my room. That never happened. Had to get new keys twice because the first two sets weren't even activated correctly. Took longer than it should have because the front desk clerk was more concerned with singing and dancing around. I was the 3rd person to need new keys while I was checking in. Upon check out, I asked for a receipt to show what I was actually charged and was told "they don't do that". The entire hotel is an absolute mess, boxes and renovations everywhere, and it reeks of paint. There was no manager available upon check out, so I am still stuck with both charges on my card and no one can be bothered to call me back or rectify the situation. The amazing breakfast they brag so much about was yogurt and fruit, no juice or waffle mix or hot items - there wasn't even bread to make toast... and front desk seemed unphased about people asking for refills on these items. kayak customer service called the hotel about the issue and got the same attitude I received when I was present. 10/10 do not recommend.

Cons: Gross. Toilet had been used and not flushed. Crumbs all over counters. Trash on floor all around bed and coffee table. No mirror in room, just warped mirror in bathroom. Usual fan of Extended Stays but wouldve stayed somewhere else nearby for same price. Complained to staff who didn’t seem to care.

Cons: Beds weren't as comfortable as I would have liked them to be.

Cons: The cable programming for the hotel sucked. The soap bars were also very tiny. It isn't a big deal, but bring your own soap or body wash to be on the safe side. Also, the hotel wasn't finished being built and we heard really loud construction work the following morning after our first night staying there.
