Location is good. Clean room with a fireplace. Friendly staffs.
The hotel is located at a much higher level by the town center. Which means one has to climb 75 steps to go back to the hotel after skiing. Westin charges $10 per person (not per room) per day to store your skis by the gondola if you don't want to climb the stairs carrying your skis and wearing your ski boots. I had stayed at Westin @ Whistler, which is truly a ski in/out facility and offers ski valet at no additional charge to hotel guests.
The staff. Most of them are very arrogant, and limited for helping guests solve problems. Also, they did a very big mess on the checkout bills and tried to charge us more
Excellent Staff. Friendly. Fast service. Clean comfortable rooms. Great food. Gondola ride straight to Canyon Lodge. Dog friendly. My service dog had a fantastic and relaxing stay. Very relaxing and comfortable. Staff goes beyond helpful and friendly.
There isn't anything we didn't like about the property, staff, or services. We will be staying at Westin next time we're at Mammoth.
Stuff kindness, location, cleanest, property ect ect
It’s pet friendly. I definitely don’t agree with that
The facilites and locations are amazing....it couldn’t be better
Food is horrible ...the service in the restaurant is terrible.
The Mammoth Lakes glow with breathtaking beauty, and this resort remains the best spot to enjoy the sights and sounds in the region. The Westin avails fantastic luxury service in a prime location, giving you an excellent experience. The strategic location gives you the unique opportunity to hike, bike, and fish, with skiing available for a significant part of the year at the Mammoth Ski Resort. Also, close by are the Village Gondola, Mammoth Village, and the Edison Theater.
The Westin has pet-friendly suites, tastefully furnished with kitchenettes, fireplaces, flat screen televisions, work tables, balconies, and reliable, fast wireless Internet. There are a total of 130 air-conditioned suites at this location.
The location is particularly unique due to the scenic views that you can take in a while enjoying a relaxing, in-room spa massage. Make the most of your day time and kick back in the hot tubs, heated outdoor pool, and the well-equipped fitness studio. The hotel serves a range of innovative Californian cuisine at the Whitebark Restaurant, which has a bar and lounge as well.
The premises are particularly suitable for all functions such as weddings and seminars. The range of outdoor activities also makes the Westin the ideal getaway spot for the active individual or couple.
The room classes available at the Westin Monache Resort are the Deluxe View, Studio Suite, One Bedroom Suite, Two Bedroom Suite, and the Junior Suite, all different in size as well as amenities. Take time to enquire and pick a suite with a view, a balcony, or both as rooms vary. The Westin Resort is a proper getaway, finding a balance between luxury and nature. The hotel gives fantastic discounts to seniors, AAA/CAA members, corporates and military personnel.
