perfect stay ideal for disabled persons
the peace and quiet of the countryside
It was a really lovely getaway. It was very clean and warm. We were very well taken care of and the food was great. The barn resturant is beautiful and the service was brilliant. Homemade bread was served and the food was great. When the coffee came after the meal, it came with homemade chocolates and fudge and they were fantastic! The surroundings are beautiful. We asked for help getting to Southwold and were given a map to help us find our way. Really helpful staff. Would definately go again.
The water pressure was awful! And the bed was too firm (for me anyway, my husband thought it was fine) .
Brilliant location, great room, lovely food, friendly staff, great service - all was perfect and we had an excellent break.
the wine , dine & unwind was good value for money, we also liked the peaceful location. There was a great breakfast in the morning, with good variety.
Lovely atmosphere in the thatched restaurant, however a few niggles which irritated at dinner. The white wine we bought was unchilled, and i had to bring that to their attention. The waiter, namebadge Win, then irritated further by clearing the bottle without asking whilst passing, whilst still a serving in it. From the room the shower was fixed too low for a person of over 6 foot and i just hate shower curtains!
Very relaxing-very comfortable rooms-superb food-beautiful gardens and friendly but not intrusive atmosphere.
An indoor pool would be the"icing on the cake" for this hotel but not at an extra cost.
Good location, nice layout and gardens.
Bathroom nicely fitted but shower was poor (low pressure)
Our room was great, very spacious & great views. However favourite was the barn restaurant.
Was a little expensive for the room but would pay again.
Lovely staff, lovely setting, excellent food. only wish we could have stayed longer.
Very friendly and polite staff, from waiting to reception. Set in beautiful grounds and a large clean room made it a terrific stay.
