Pros:Never got a car, so nothing to like.Cons:I was sent to a pick up location that had been closed for years. Had to travel 10 miles to another location, then told I wasn’t in their system so no car available. Thank goodness Budget was right next door.Reviewed 18 Apr 2021

Cons:The associate at the Jackson Hertz was very unhelpful and discourteous. I reserved a mid-size SUV and on the reservation it said, “Jeep Cherokee, Ford Escape, Toyota Rav-4, or similar model.” However, the associate would not let me rent a Jeep Cherokee without paying for an upgrade.Reviewed 13 Aug 2019

Pros:The car itself was nice and drove well.Cons:I selected the Lakeland Dr office on the map and completed the reservation process. Unfortunately, I did not read the confirmation. Went to pick up the car at the Lakeland Dr and they did not have reserv. The reserv was at a site 20 min away, which was not on map when I selected!Reviewed 15 May 2019

Pros:nice clean car, easy to pickup and easy to returnCons:my flight was delayed and I arrived about 4 hours later than expected. When I got there, they were out of cars for myself and two others. They had to go and retrieve them (not sure from where). The staff was great and kept us informed and apologized for the delay.Reviewed 25 Feb 2019

Pretty much a nightmare experience from the first minutePros:Location was convenient to the airportCons:I got the run-around for more than 1 hour and ultimately we had to call corporate to get a car issued. The car I ultimately got was not the car I had reserved and was not very comfortable (a very basic Toyota RAV 4 instead of a Chrysler 200). I had lost my drivers license and my state issued a paper license to be used with an older expired license and the clerk at the counter refused to accept it even though it was a state-issued license. Manager also refused, even when told that the Hertz agreement only states that the driver must present a valid license (which I did). He told my husband that if we read the internal documents from Hertz (how in the world would anyone have access to this stuff?) we'd see that paper licenses were not acceptable. 2 calls to corporate only confirmed what we knew--a paper license issued by the state was indeed valid. 90 long minutes later, a car was ultimately issued. We have never had such poor customer service from a rental car company.Reviewed 1 Nov 2017
