Not much enforcement of masks
The pilots waited til they were going to have work overtime then told us they needed to stay in vegas. This all occurred after the flight was delayed AND then after we were already all boarded on the plane. We all had to deplane and wait for new pilots to come fly us. It was terrible logistical planning and staffing inefficiencies on the part of Frontier.
Entertainment and food not applicable
Flight was late. Seat lacks padding. No free snacks or drinks.
It was the first flight for the young captain and he did a great job! Also kudos to the flight crew for getting the passengers to let him know how he did.
Price for snacks and drinks was ridiculous but should have understood that for the price of the flight.
First of all, I filtered my search on Kayak and I DID mention that I needed flights with bag. So rated were presented to me and I picked one. I purchased the ticket, and I did not know that the bag was NOT included (although I did search rates with bag) so one big lie from Kayak. Please fix your search algorithm.
Will not fly Frontier again. Bait and switch with initial ticket price and baggage fees at check in.
Canceled trip due to covid risks. Given credit toward re-booking, without any attached fees.
Good at cheap rate
The company said the airline changed my flight time but the airline said it didn't. I had to scramble to find another flight last minute and let my credit card investigate the charges.
A free cup of water.
There needs to be a lumbar support in the back of the chair and more cushion in seat.
It was very clean!
No usb connection for electronics. Crew personnel hygiene not good. I paid extra for a carry on. People with back packs had taken all over head storage prior to my seating. I also paid extra to upgrade my seating to the front of the plane. No place to stow my carry on in the front of the plane. Disembarking was very difficult to be seated in the 3rd row
Frontier you really should evaluate your business and how you treat customers who’s spending there money on your business where not obligated remember that just like how frontier is a million dollar company you can lose as well don’t be too greedy
I hated that I had to pay for my seat and my carryon, then probably could have gotten away without having to buy it because it’s not like they checked. The crew was unprofessional, pulled down their face mask every time they talked, and didn’t enforce people wearing their mask appropriately (obviously with their own behavior). The seats were wildly uncomfortable without the option to recline at all. Yeah, I’ll absolutely never fly frontier again.
The staff is very nice.
The plane was extremely cold, which made it even more difficult to sleep on the red eye.
It was great
It’s not frontier’s fault I think it’s most airlines seats suck unless your in first, but would an extra inch of foam on the bottom cushion be that hard?
This is the worst airline that I have flown with!
My trip Chicago to Phoenix was good. I slept most of the way. They charge for everything now. Carry-on was ~$50. I brought my own snacks. Seats close together ( well, it is an airplane), but luckily I’ve been vaccinated. It was a round trip and on both, the flight was delayed an hour. The delays were from lightening storms. It was ok.
Better ticket counter service
Never happened. Plane left while we where waiting for a gate. Poor planing at its best. And all you can do is a 10 dollars for a meal for a person who's flight was delayed twice and was left at the airport because of your negligence not weather.
I wish Frontier offered a free snack and water with every flight. I realize frontier charges for food and beverages to keep costs low, but a simple free snack (like nuts or crackers) and a small bottle of water would go a long way toward making each flight more tolerable. Otherwise, I'm always pleased with Frontier, especially your friendly and helpful staff.
screaming children the entire flight
No entertainment whatsoever, food only to pirchase.
Focusing predominantly on domestic travel within the United States, Frontier flies to smaller regional locations as well as large cities. Controlling operations from a hub in Denver, the airline reaches more than 105 locations across the United States. Services are also available to international vacation destinations in Mexico, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Canada, and the Dominican Republic.
Frontier operates as an ultra-low-cost carrier with competitive prices and direct single-leg trips. Fares are kept low by sacrificing luxuries, such as in-flight entertainment devices, while meals and drinks can be purchased as extras. It is a subsidiary of IndiGo Partners, which also controls JetSMART, Volaris, and Wizz Air. A codeshare agreement is held with carrier Volaris, expanding the possible connections between Mexico and the United States.
It is possible to sit in either Economy or Stretch (their version of Premium Economy). The chairs are not designed to recline, meaning the person in front of you won’t encroach on your space. Seats in the Stretch section have roughly an extra 5 in of legroom and a large pull-out tray that is ideal for working on a laptop.
Exclusively Airbus aircraft are chosen for the fleet, with Frontier preferring narrow-body jets like the A320 family. One of the most commonly flown models is the A320neo, which has tremendous fuel efficiency and can carry approximately 186 passengers. The planes have distinctive animals painted on the tails and are all unique images. Among the animals featured are rabbits, dolphins, bears, sea otters, and penguins. The names of the characters appear underneath the cockpit windows.
