Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel for its spacious rooms and convenient location near local attractions like Lake Matheson and Fox Glacier. Many found the rooms to be clean and appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, especially at reception. However, there were frequent complaints about the permanently closed restaurant, misleading advertising about available amenities, and maintenance issues such as broken toilets, non-functioning TVs, and poorly maintained grounds. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel’s quiet setting and large, comfortable rooms made for a pleasant stay for many guests.
