Reviews about No 45
“Irene is a wonderful host and creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for her guests. The house is perfectly located around the corner from a bus stop which takes you to the famous Royal Mike in less than 10 mins. Our family room was warm comfortable and impeccably clean and breakfast next morning was fabulous. Our kids even received a little Christmas treat from Irene for being good!”
“The location was quiet and easy to get to from centre of Edinburgh on a bus. The buses were very frequent. The room was extremely well presented. I had a fabulous night sleep.”
“The owner was very kind to wait for me all day at my arrival and took good care of me the two days I was there.”
“Full homecooked breakfast!”
“I booked to stay here on purpose with a bit of trepidation. This is the house I grew up in. Our old family home. Unfortunately all but one are no longer with us so I didn't know how it would be or how I would feel. I shouldn't have worried. Irene showed us round where she could, was very accommodating and very friendly. She even offered us a choice of room. She has done wonders with the house. We had a lovely stay and I put a few ghosts to rest.”
