Was spacious and nice looking
No free WiFi
Dated facilities and decor
my room was in under-ground floor. It is very difficult to reach it. All staffs were not friendly with us. the area of the hotel is not safe and far from everything.
Location was good giving easy walking to the city centre bus stop out side of hotel
There was. A lack of information with regards to food availability ie the Java Menu was only available at lunch time this was not displayed any where.Causing a degree of confusion to myself and other guests.
The double room was big which was nice. I enjoyed walking around the area surrounding the hotel . There’s a nice waterway path.
The bathroom was filthy unfortunately. The bedsheets were too small to cover the double bed, leaving the mattress exposed. I asked one of the staff members for a bigger sheet but he was unable to help. So I slept on top of the covers, wearing all my clothes and covering myself with a scarf for warmth. There was a heater in the room but unfortunately once I turned it on I smelt burning / smoke so I quickly turned it off again. There was no handsoap in the bathroom to wash my hands with after using the toilet . There was a half roll of toilet paper and an empty box of tissues in there too. The room smelt faintly of fish. The £14 buffet dinner was not good value for money in my opinion - while some of the food was piping hot other items, like the pasta bake, were lukewarm and neglected.
