Was very disappointed in the car. It was a high mileage beater more appropriate to rent-a-wreck. The only reason that I didn't give a single star was that our airplane was delayed and the owner stayed beyond closing to accomodate us. Five Stars for Service, Zero stars for the product.Reviewed 11 Feb 2023

Do NOT use economy rental car in cabo. Even with “full insurance” they will still charge you for any damage to the car. The cost of the car per day is at least $100, regardless of what you pay through Kayak.Reviewed 4 Sep 2022

Pick up was okay. Drop off was terrible. There was no shuttle to the airport. Staff was very rude and unhelpful about getting to the airport. Eventually we were taken to the airport in the same car rented to us in two trips. Then was charged more than the amount on the rental contract to my credit card.Reviewed 13 Jul 2021

Pros:The staff was unhelpful and unfriendly,Cons:Kayak and Economy Car Rental should fully disclose the legal requirements for renting a car in Mexico. We were unable to decline the insurance even though we had the option to decline it online. The agent was rude and unhelpful.Reviewed 7 Jul 2021

Pros:The car was OK, had to jump it once because it couldn't stand the radio on and the car was very weak and sounded like it had some transmission problems. But it did it's job, can't expect much from a RenaultCons:I made the reservation for $70 for all 5 days, thought it was a great rate. When we got there they said there was a mandatory insurance that jumped the price to OVER $250 for 5 days. Why are we booking at such a low rate and believe that is the TOTAL price as the website says then figure out we need to pay 4x the price at the spot. Then I extended for another 2 days and it was over $120 for the 2 days. Super misleading and that is definitely Kayak's fault for quoting such low rates, I wish they would honor the rate that I was quoted before I made my way to Mexico and got ripped off because I needed a car. Literally everyone was complaining about the huge insurance rates at the store.Reviewed 13 May 2021

Pros:Drop off was easy.Cons:The required insurance wasn’t include in the upfront price and the cost was doubled when insurance was added. The car was a piece of junk, including drivers side large crack in the windshield, no power, one tire almost bald.Reviewed 25 Apr 2021

Pros:nothingCons:Everything. I reserved a Jeep Wrangler for a quoted price of $44.60/day. When I arrived they told me they don't even have any Jeeps, instead they would rent me a Renault for $107/day. It is completely unacceptable that they chose not to honor the reservation and tried to charge me extra for an inferior vehicle.Reviewed 8 Jan 2020
