This modern apart-hotel is located in Copenhagen's new harbourside development, 500 meters from the International Ferry Terminal and near the Copenhagen Cruise Port. The Little Mermaid, Kastellet
Pros: The mini kitchen with plates, silverware, and refrigerator. Allowed us to shop for groceries at the mall and save $ from the expensive food in Copenhagen.Cons: The extreme taxes on hotel stays. The taxes was 1/3 the total cost.
My last visit to the city.
Pros: great roomsCons: limited internet access - free only in lobby area
Great hotelPros: The cleanliness, the staff was very friendly, the rooms have fridge and a microwave so you can save a bit by bringing food over.Cons: No free wifi on the room, the shower is no door/curtain style, and water gets everywhere in the bathroom, but looks fancy as hell
Booked on a recommendation - would definitely stayPros: Great location. Easy reach of town center, sights and transport.
Good facilities. Room was comfortable, warm and well appointed.
Reception staff and room staff were all fantastic.
Close to a small supermarket and across from a great little Italian restaurant - Tio Mario, as well as the adjoining hotel restaurant Ottos which did a good breakfast.Cons: Both very minor niggles....Toiletries provided were slightly haphazard - shampoo and conditioner only one day, shower gel and shampoo the next!
Jacuzzi could have been a bit warmer .....
Pros: The studio apartment room had lovely interiors. We rented bikes from the hotel which was really great. However the lack of free internet in the rooms was definitely a downfall. The free internet in the lobby was a little spotty. The location was a little far removed, but at least it was close to a train station.
Pros: the location is good, it is near the the port, and there is bus 26 to the center [about 15 minites drive],
itws in a pleasant neighborhood and about 10 minites walk to the The Little Mermaid.Cons: Price does not include breakfast and adding breakfast is very expensive.
Pros: Spacious rooms compared to most European hotels in this price range (beautifully designed & appointed, too). Nice little balcony. There is a grocery store just down the street, so we saved a lot of money by shopping and preparing food in the well-equipped kitchenette instead of eating out at restaurants, which made this hotel a better value than it would have been otherwise for the nightly rate.. Nice breakfast buffet was also included in our rate (very friendly staff in the restaurant). Loved the indoor pool/hot tub.
Cons: It was a great convenience to be able to do laundry right in our room, but my only (minor) complaint is that the settings for the clothes dryer were difficult to adjust effectively, despite the instructions provided in Danish and English. After three hours of drying time, our clothes were still quite damp. Then it kicked in to overdrive, dried everything to the point of shrinkage, and steamed up the bathroom enough to make puddles!
