great service made everything so easy
- Reserved and paid for a 7-passenger SUV. At pick-up get indication, they do not have any SUVs available, but could geve me 2 cars for the same price. How is one person supposed to drive 2 cars? 2 cars would also require 2 sets of insurance charges and gasoline. Decided to take 1 car, with a refund for difference from reservation. Response: We cannot refund anything, Kayak makes reservations without consulting us, you need to talk to Kayak, nothing we can do. - Car received: White, auto, Nissan Sentra 4 door. Car was clearly in accident, bumpers were discolored/misaligned relative to body, car had multiple dents on doors and trunk. Car had a flat overnight, when service came to replace tire (same guy from desk at agency) it was clear the rim was bent, reason for flat tire. Car was driven to hotel and back, did not feel save driving it. - Upon return, a bump in front tire was identified, rep indicated it would require replacement and charge against deposit. Upon review of video taken during pick-up, realized the bump was on tire originally. When shown the video, representative refused to recognize it and recommended filing a claim to the insurance company so tire would be replaced. Refused to file a fraudulent claim for damage that was clearly in the car previous to delivery, that was not appreciated by representative. Car return required 2 hours, time lost from vacation for a car that was barely used. - NU car rental is not the name of the company providing the car, name is American car rental. It is not a good idea to provide incorrect car rental company information to customers, there is no graphical or visual indication at the American car rental agency indicating it support rentals for NU car rental company. - Worst experience with a car rental in over 20 years. - Rent directly with car rental companies, do not recommend using Kayak based on this experience.
The only issue was that Nü Car Rentals doesn't exist anymore, you go to America Car Rentals to get the car but once there everything was perfect
Reserved automatic van for transporting five guys acround. When I arrived they had nothing close to that and our only option was a stick shift Nissan Versa…. Had to waste more time finding another option at another provider on short notice. 😖
