Convenient and clean.
Signage was not very visible with construction all around it, so I had some trouble finding it. Very limited parking.
Staff was extremely rude. We were told that one room would have double beds (and I have the receipt to show it), but when we got to the room, there was only one bed. The front desk person told us there was nothing she could do as they were sold out.
The free breakfast was worth the money. Parking was adequate.
Was a gap under the door 1' where bugs etc could crawl in off the street. Room was run down, dirty carpet, blanket was burnt with cigarette marks and scratchy. shower curtain was to close and kept bumping into it while showering. Dogs barking often.
I liked the location of the place and the staff was very friendly.
This place has bedbugs! I woke up the next day with several bites on my arms, legs, and back!
Good value. Friendly staff. Newly shampooed carpet in my room. Clean and comfortable bed and linen.
Many food options and some bargain shopping opportunities nearby. Close to highway leading to UVA main campus.
Major construction site next door(summer 2015), on a very busy street with other hotels behind and next to this location. Lots of foot traffic & it was not a quiet night of sleep.
Bathtub and shower were in bad shape. Stained and in ill repair.
The rooms were larger than I expected for the price we paid
No soap dish, interactive tv, the stale odor in the room, the carpet not shampooed, no toiletries, the shower curtain no water proof, in accessible wall outlets, lack of adjustment to a/c vents, a general staleness in the air, dingy furniture
There was no meat in the included continental breakfast. There was however a selection of different breakfast items.
The room was really clean. It had a nice sized t.v. and the microwave and refrigerator definitely came in handy. I woke up later than expected and was given an extra hour to checkout for FREE! I was really pleased with my stay-customer service was great!
The bathroom was extremely small...the smallest bathroom I'd ever seen...however..i did fall for the shower head. The beds were really hard and stiff..so I tossed and turned for a while before falling asleep..i adored the 3 soft and plush pillows though.
I had a very last minute booking late at night and the price was right ($---/night) so I can't complain. The location was very convenient.
Room was very dated and several lights didn't work. Also, it smelled pretty heavily of stale smoke. The AC was really loud but essential for hot, humid July.
Room seamed clean. Front desk person was very pleasant.
Parking/ construction. Semi tractor trailers parked on both side of the side street almost blocking the only entrance.
The staff was very friendly
The parking at night was bad because of the renovations
Water closet in room was broken upon our 11 PM arrival and we had to change rooms. Smelled like smoke. Rooms dingy and dated. Unattractive grounds-construction going on.
Functional.. Ok for the price
Too much construction in the area
The location was great
Left some items in the room after checking out returned 10 minutes later to have housekeeping tell me that they did not see anything went to management and they did nothing
Low price, close to family. Good size TV and king bed.
No extra plugs in room. Not enough plugs for their own equipment. Had to unplug microwave to plug in coffee pot.
price and location
Raggedy all together. Too many long term tenants just loitering everywhere. Very uncomfortable atmosphere.
Shower had fiberglas ceiling tile and exposed crap from above where it came from. Manager tried to scam me out of my promissed refund, four times over. Location was a drag strip.
The room was clean and cozy and the bed was comfortable and I HAD A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP.
The only thing I didn't like was, some of the lights were unplugged or not working and some of the wall sockets didn't work and I would have like to see maybe something hot for breakfast besides oatmeal.
The staff was all very friendly and our room was very clean.
Room a little cramped, area noisy on weekends, no elevator to second floor.
the mirrow in the bathroom
your hotel is DIRTY
Location was great.
Close to university, price, room
Noisy construction, rude staff, no hot water, weird smell in hotel
They was doing construction right in front of the entrance power drills going at 7 am toilet took for ever to go down
DON'T STAY HERE! Under construction with parking lot completely torn up. Bed was like sleeping on a board. Bathroom was in disrepair with plaster coming off walls & bathtub pealing. Smelled bad and old. This room should not have been rented.
Place to sleep
Not well kept, room had tears in furniture and bathroom ceiling was looking to fall, would move when opened door
The heating system was quieter and more comfortable than I expected.
The toilet did not work in the first room I got - no water regardless of which way I turned the valve. I did move to a satisfactory room.
it shared parking lots and the same room numbers with the hotel next door - Quality Inn. I went to the wrong hotel with the directions the desk clerk gave me.
It location but there was no one at the desk floor ten minutes. The hotel smelt mushy
Room had a smell but I just put up with it.
Very close to UVa, better than expected breakfast bar. Big bed, nice pillows.
You can hear folks walking down the stairs with rolling suitcases.
Location good, quiet even though close to road, slept well
Drug dealers fighting and yelling all night. Not good.
Yes-extremely low water pressure in the shower.
This hotel seems to be in a state of flux. The hotel used to be managed by another hotel chain and was very nice, with a restaurant and outdoor pool. Now, the restaurant building is empty and the pool mus be under renovation.
Close to hospital
Check in was at 3pm which was the time we arrived housekeeping was still cleaning our room and would not tell us ho long it would be. Refrigerator went out had to be replaced and replacement failed as well. Breakfast SAS limited and ran out by 9am
The place should probably be condemned. Falling cement outside, showers that were falling apart,
Very convenient location. Room was very clean. Things were a bit worn, but everything worked properly. I got an excellent price.
Parking was a little inconvenient, but not a long walk.
Convenient to surrounding area. Easy to find.
No wifi in room (as advertised). They did not offer to do anything. When I woke up I the morning, the bathroom was full of ants (flying and nonflying varieties). Cigarette burns in the sink (nonsmoking room). Had to ask for breakfast to be restocked.
