Clean room. Comfortable bed. Close to the free bus depot. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Breakfast buffet and cookies in the evening. Free coffee and tea in the lobby any time.
Nothing really. Over all a good experience.
Breakfast and coffee were awesome. Staff was attentive and helpful. Location was fabulous.
First room was very musty and had evidence of water issues. 2nd room was much better but tub was clogged. I brought it to the manager’s attention and it was fixed.
The beds were wonderful and the staff was really nice.
I really don't like having to pay extra $60 for parking after paying $800 for a room for only three nights.
Very good. A little crowded, but it worked out.
Parking is expensive ($20/day) , but very convenient.
This was our second stay in this hotel. The staff and cleanliness are outstanding. The breakfast is good, about what you'd expect from a "free" hotel breakfast. The location is really nicely located very near Upper King St and Marion Square. It's a little bit more of a hike to the Market Street/East Bay area near the Pineapple park, but it's still very central to everything. It's a very nice hotel and usually priced below the area. This weekend must have been a sellout because rates were a bit elevated.
Everything in our room was always damp. The first night, our A/C wasn't working real well, so it was warm and humid in the room. I contacted the desk and they sent someone pretty quick to address the problem. Even after it was fixed though, it was cool (cold really), but everything was still very damp. I had a shirt not dry in the room from the first night we were there 3 days later. I understand Charleston is a very humid place, but the A/C units should be able to remove the moisture from the air if you have it cranked. It dripped on the carpet the whole time we were there too. Not super comfortable.
