Situated in Cambridge, this hotel is close to Jesus Green, University of Cambridge, and St. John's College. Also nearby are Trinity College and Church of St Mary the Great.
Pros: Convenient location, friendly staff.Cons: A little awkward with having to check in elsewhere and then navigate down and up stairs to get to the room, but all was fine.
Pros: Room sizeCons: Theres no reception. Its not a problem at all, but id like to know that before paying. I had to walk 10 minutes to take the key room in another hotel. Again: its not a prpblem if they warn you about that before deal.
Pros: Full English breakfast. Friendly staffs.
Pros: I liked the style of the building. I tend to look for unique looking places to stay and places that are more home-like than hotel-like and this place certainly had that feel.
Pros: Wonderful bathtub with heated towel rack and lovely tea service in the room.Cons: Stairs were a bit much, but this is an old Victorian house.
Pros: Location is great.Cons: Staff was not friendly. Check in is only available onsite during limited hours- otherwise have to haul luggage back and forth between sister hotel, 10 minutes away.No shower. Only bathtub with no hand held nozzle. This is very inconvenient.
Pros: It is a beautiful building with a nice lot on the back, only 15 minutes walk from city center and colleges. Room is clean with confotable bedding.Cons: WIFI is very slow.
In a wonderful spot, so close to all the tourist areas. Staff are great and very helpfulPros: Staff and locationCons: Nope
Very pretty hotel w/ nice breakfast.Cons: Reserved a room on Priceline at last minute. We did not have a printout of the reservation with us and the receptionist did not want to honour the Priceline price. Eventually, they agreed, but it was not a nice start to our stay. Bring your confirmation
