Cons: As above the bar isn’t functioning at the moment. As a returning guest I was also advised to always call direct for the best price, this was not the case & I saved nearly $30 by booking online.

Cons: The restaurant down stairs was closed and the rooms are very small, they keep the ironing board is stored underneath the bed. The coffee in the fancy machine tasted horrible and we did found a dead cockroach in the room.

Cons: Despite stating 'soundproofing' in the listing. you are going to experience a lot of outside noise until quite late (11pm approx). The hotel is ageing and it shows. No blind in the living room despite there being brackets to suit one and the door to the balcony was poorly sealed, so a lot of noise came in around the old door seals. Sofa had seen better days.

Cons: There wasn’t much not to like about FV by Peppers. Asides that I’d asked reception to book into a private spa, and they said that was fine. Then when I later went down to ask for the room number to find it in the morning they were happy to give it to me however, they didn’t tell me before my appointment to grab a key from reception, instead had to figure it out once arriving to the spa and not being able to go in. Would of been nice to have been informed the 2 times I was at reception before hand that I needed a key. But apart from that it was a spectacular stay!

Pros: The receptionist Laila and night manager Bee were amazing whilst we were here. We stayed in a private room and Laila couldn’t do enough for us, always super helpful and very polite! She even helped us organise moving into a dorm and back into our private room over the RiverFire weekend (we stupidly were not organised)

Came to the property a few days early to make sure we knew where we were going and the receptionist showed us around then and there, even showing us where our room would be. We had a private double room, which also has a fridge. Shower is great, good power and rooms are tidy enough for the price.

Cons: Rooms quite basic, kitchen small and very busy at meal times, very steep steps up to entrance which was a bit of a struggle with heavy suitcases

Cons: Property seems to be getting run down; peeling paint, broken wooden fences and damaged furniture in the common areas. Shared kitchens aren’t the cleanest and we did spot a cockroach whilst making dinner one night. WiFi is also quite weak in certain areas :(

Pros: The location was really good for us.
Cons: The bedroom and bathroom were ceawling with cockroaches, it was disgusting! They were everywhere! We are still worries we might have unvolutarily taken some home with us in our luggage! Who knows what more bugs live there! Also the room and bathroom were that tiny, it was difficult to move. For example one could not use the toilet without squeezing past the sink and constantly bumping into furniture or walls. And did I mention the cockroaches?!

Cons: Filled with drug addicts sketchy people constant theft and fights cockroaches rats mice management to worried worried about his stomoch rather than keeping the place nice and comfortable filthy place police every few hours would not recommend it If your a junkie looking for a hit i would reccomend it

Cons: It wasn't the cleanest room I've ever stayed in - we saw a cockroach in the bathroom. At one point I was walking barefoot and cut my toe on something (don't know what - possibly a piece of glass they hadn't vacuumed?). Parking was also a nightmare - the entrance wasn't blocked up when we got there but I left on the Saturday and came back on the Sunday and couldn't even get into the area to see if there were parks because people had blocked up the entrance
