Plug-in hybrid was left at zero charge and 3/4 of a tank which made it difficult to refill exactly to 3/4 again. The drop-off process was extremely frustrating with no signage at the drop-off address and no help from the attendant I eventually found walking around. I ended up driving around for 30 minutes trying to find the right spot to drop it off and almost missed my connecting ferry.Reviewed 16 Oct 2025

The people working at the front desk were great. However, I didn't get the car I booked. The car I did get smelled like weed. Went in to get another car and was downgraded to a Corolla. We had a long drive and it was very uncomfortable.Reviewed 16 Oct 2025

Terrible. My flight was delayed by 2h and the rental place wasn't open when I arrived. When I got there first thing in the morning, they said they don't have a car for me anymore. They were rude and everything took a really long time. Avis at Vienna airport is terrible!Reviewed 13 Oct 2025

I was trying to change my reservation due to the snow tire things. The policy of BC is every car should put the snowtire on the vehicle from Oct. 1 but I didn't know that. The pickup line took 45 minutes, which really needs to be addressed. The staff were very nice and helpful, and drop-off took only seconds, so it’s clear the issue is with the pickup process itself. I had already filled out all my information in advance to expedite things, but still ended up waiting in line for 45 minutes.
