Cons: One of the night front desk staff members said something rude to our group when we arrived home.

Cons: Although the booking sites claim "free wifi" and "parking", both are additional. Parking is 30 dollars a night and wifi is 12 dollars a day. When we came in the man who checked us in reassured us of this when giving us our keys. the lady who checked is out was very persistent about us paying parking per night. Essentially if you stay for a week expect a 210 dollar fee. This is not the valet fee, just parking deck fee. The woman at check out was very rude about this charge.

Cons: We awoke about 3:30-4:00am to an EXTREMELY strong smell of marijuana...ugh..it literally was coming into the room through the door base and upon opening the door...the hallway was saturated. We had to put damp bath towels under the door to alleviate the odor. Also, my daughter called the room a couple of times from her work to only be addressed by a snarky hotel operator...otherwise a great stay...on a “high” note, I did mention my concerns to the front desk at check out and was addressed sincerely with a promise to investigate the matter.....many thanks...

Cons: Asked for a quiet room, they confirmed a quiet room. After a late arrival, I was awoken at 07:00 the next day to jack hammering and drilling from the room next door, which continued until I complained at 08:00 (front desk did not appear to be aware, needed to contact engineering). Room service forgot to include bring one of the items that was ordered and itemized on the bill until after I pointed it out that the item was missing.

Cons: I know this is silly, but the late night room service menu is lacking for good snacks and included mostly salads and sandwiches. Not exactly what most people would look for on a late night menu! Parking is expensive and wifi is only free for 24 hours.

Cons: didn't love the fact there was no jacuzzi waitress in the bar wasn't the friendliest parking was not cheap $24 to self park and &35 to valet

Cons: I stayed in two different rooms that were smelly - one smelled musty, the other smelled like marijuana smoke. We didn't enjoy that.

Cons: No pool or jacuzzi. Or free breakfast

Cons: The pillowcase had remnants of apparent eye makeup, there was no "smart" TV to access any streaming services, the room service food was average and overpriced for its quality.

Cons: Room was tight. The did not take the effort to find my marriott rewards number ( did not have with me). would not consider an upgrade evin if I paid because I booked with this site.

Cons: The traffic at the front was a bit much, but the Valets manage it extremely well. The Valets are the best I have ever seen.

Cons: I mistakenly booked a reservation here and called 10 mins later to cancel. I was told on the phone that I would not be charged anything for the cancellation but was charged $224 for not staying there. I understand cancellation fees but don't make promises you won't keep.

Cons: I can't think of a single thing.

Cons: Parking was outrageously expensive. The staff could have warned us that you pay the $18 fee everytime you leave the parking lot.

Cons: The room next door to me was filled with screaming children and a crying baby throughout the afternoon and evening.

Cons: Paper thin walls were horrible- I heard EVERYTHINT from the room next to me.

Cons: Room was dusty in places and A/C made a rattling noise. Lamp shade had hole in it. Plugs on lamps only worked when lamp was on.

Cons: I didn't like the $30 valet parking charge.

Cons: No continental breakfast. You had to pay an additional $12.99 per person to eat. Also, you have to pay for parking (which is common downtown). Check your car once valet bring it back to you. We had scratches and scrapes on our back bumper.

Cons: some of the public sinks didn't work on 4th floor, toilet malfunctioned and kept running, food terrible

Cons: CLEANLINESS!! 1. Enforcing elevator masks during Covid. 2. Refilling the hand sanitizer stations. 3. Of the 5 blankets on the bed, one had dried blood on it. 4. Previous patrons Hair found often on my bathroom floor, meaning the carpet was not thoroughly vacuumed, I wore flip flops inside the entire time!

Cons: The "historic" feel of the lobby and building is charming, but the actual rooms are simply old, tired, and somewhat dirty.

Cons: Although I was excited to be staying at a historical hotel, I wasn't expecting my room to be so historic. The bed linens were pilled, the bathrooms were dated and tiles cracked, the remote was sticky (as in the buttons wouldn't work and there was candy stuck on it), there was an odor to the room (fixed temporarily by febreeze I purchased), stains on the carpet and chair, the tissues were re-stuffed into the box., the toilet paper was not fresh, you can hear everyone else flushing and showering, lamps that had blown... The room aside, I thought I would at least be won over with southern charm, but I got better service at the Chick-fil-A. All of my calls to the front desk went to voicemail where my messages were never responded to, even in person questions asked at the front desk weren't responded to, and when asked for recommendations was either sent to a salon where I wouldn't even send my dearest enemy or was given none at all. Thank goodness for Yelp. The outside is still beautiful and charming, although the cleanliness level of the hotel steered me away from trying their restaurant, I would say lunch on their patio would be the best way to experience the hotel where the Gone With the Wind premiere was held - and stay elsewhere.

Cons: There were stains on the carpet not only in the hallway leading to the room, but all over the carpet in the room itself. And don't even think of trying to sleep in or just relax after 9. They are in the midst of renovations, and the constant jack hammering, or whatever tool they were using will reverberate into your room. You can cover the noise by turning the tv up loud, but that defeats the purpose of trying to relax.

Cons: Room was worn. For $200 a night, I expect furniture that is unscratched and a bathroom free of rusty hinges and moldy silicone.

Cons: our friends got super huge spacious rooms with suites and KITCHENS!!! We asked for an upgrade and had a small room way way down the hall and around the corner, what is up with that?? No one answers the phones - called room service, front desk, conceirge, and the operator---VERY ANNOYING THAT NO ONE WOULD ANSWER REPEATED PHONE CALLS will not stay here again..,.,

Cons: Didn't use the kitchen area but the drawers were coming apart. Ultra cheap cabinets showing poor management decision.

Cons: I was given the wrong room not the one that was ordered

Cons: There is a full kitchen but no dishes, glasses, pots or pans. The shower curtain wasn't functional so water got all over the floor. Wish there has been extra blankets. I wanted to watch a movie on the couch but could not get comfortable. TV channels were limited.

Cons: When it was time to get my car the valet did not provide clear communication. There was a crowd because the hotel was having an event and it was raining. He took my card and never said anything else or what to expect.

Cons: The quality of hotel. Outdated, shower didn't work, lost reservation.
