Excellent 10.0
Pros: the host and staff were fantastic from start to finish of our stay. delicious breakfast taken with all other guests made for a great atmosphere. the host constantly baking cakes all complimentary along with tea, coffee and soft drinks in the butlers pantry. relaxing lounge with fire for chilling out. free parking on site meant we could leave the vehicle and walk to all the nearby attractions.
Cons: nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Good company. Good lunch, Free parking
Cons: Room was pretty crowded - but lovely
Excellent 9.1
Cons: Room was small but comfortable. Enough for what I needed, but would’ve been crowded if came with a friend. House was warm, breakfast was good when I finally tried it (skipped it first few days), and great opportunity to meet other travelers since we all had breakfast together.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Excellent location and helpful staff/ owners
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room and food
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast was amazing. Facilities were fantastic always coffee and home baked cakes available. Staff were all really nice
Excellent 10.0
Pros: *historic home with dramatically modern amenities. Neighborhood was so green with trees and Fall colors was amazing. *amazing attention to details -- premium touches all over *fridge w/ cold drinks, coffee, tea, home baked goods, available at all hours *breakfast was full service + super delicious, gourmet. AND accommodated a gluten-free AND vegetarian diet *breakfast was fun to meet other guests. Was interesting to talk with other guests.
Cons: *breakfast was at 8:30 prompt and cook will leave if you don't arrive between 8:30-8:50. Would have liked a little flexibility in breakfast timing - eg. breakfast is open at 8:30 and closes at 9:30, this would give us more flex in the morning. We're on vacation after all :)
Excellent 9.0
Cons: The beds were too soft.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was beautiful, unique, so clean, and they cook the most amazing breakfast each morning and bake amazing goods in the evening. They go the extra mile.
Cons: I loved all of it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This property is a real gem. You can believe all the reviews and more. Staff amazing and could not be more helpful.
Good 7.0
Pros: We loved the sit down formal breakfast. It’s out of the ordinary, but the chance to make friends and exchange stories was wonderful.
Cons: The squeaky floor in the shower and sticky carpet

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The wedgewood is a very charming hotel that provides a beautiful oasis from the busy downtown of Vancouver. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable so you rest well and are ready for another day. I would definitely stay here again.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very welcoming Room cleaner great
Cons: No jet lag
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Eggs Bene are always our favorite The staff were always helpful The day shift door man was extremely helpful , courteous , and a real fun character. The bar lounge staff never left you waiting and friendly.
Cons: Cannot think of anything
Excellent 9.0
Pros: location was excellent, food was good, not great.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location is great - just a couple blocks from the Metro (easy with luggage) and great shopping and dining all around. The on-site restaurant was amazing with FABULOUS food and cocktails. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was quiet, comfortable and well-appointed.
Cons: Would have liked more breakfast options for room delivery.
Excellent 9.0
Cons: They need to reconsider their use of plastics. Plastic water bottles is no longer necessary. And L'Occitant products are wonderful but again all the small plastic is unnecessary.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Enjoyed our suite with soaking tub, excellent food and staff . The location was also good , a reasonable walk to the exclusive shops in the waterfront area.
Cons: 1-Valet parking turned out to be a bad experience. We gave the keys to the valet for parking Sunday PM and when they went to retrieve it the following Tuesday AM from their parking facility, someone had shattered the driver side door window in an attempt to get Break in, despite “security cameras and limited access “. Also a 2nd vehicle experienced the same issue 2 spaces over from ours, don’t know if it was a hotel guest or not and don’t know if the area is public or not. The hotel does not take responsibility for vandalism, The management did go out of their way and was gracious in assisting with the inconvenience, That said, I had to pay for the repair out of my own pocket. Be warned that this could have happened at any of the 5 star hotels in the area with a similar valet setups and outcomes . ( according to local police, vehicle breakins are not uncommon for cars with “out of province plates”). Hotels don’t take responsibility for your vehicle unless it is a direct result of the valets negligence . Seems to me, if we must pay for valet, they should be responsible/obligated to keep our cars safe while it is in their care. 2- a minor issue was the Wi-Fi connection that was not very good in our room, 2-3 bars out of 4.
Mediocre 3.0
Cons: Air didn’t work. Rooms didn’t get clean. Window right off of where they throw trash out and texting deliveries starting at 6 am
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great Location. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Luxury and class without pretense, the Wedgewood made me feel welcome even while wearing jeans and chasing my rambunctious kids through the lobby.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything. From the most helpful and friendly staff, all of them, to the attention of waiters, bartenders, up to the Manager who stopped to chat while having breakfast. The room was large and well furnished.
Cons: Not Applicable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A well appointed hotel, in a great location and very helpful staff.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: It was small, which we liked, and the quality of the room fittings and furnishing was excellent
Cons: The toilet was noisy when flushed and the bed making was not great - the bottom sheet always worked it's way loose every morning
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This hotel is second to none. It is one of the best experiences we've had. The staff are impressive, and can not do enough to assist you, offering help or services rather than you having to ask. The hotel itself is lovely, the beds are very comfortable, an amazing bath, and the bar/restaurant next door is fabulous too. They even have a car attached to the hotel and will drop you off wherever you would like within the CBD. Very happy, will definitely be back!
Cons: Nothing!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great staff. Extremely helpful. Beautiful rooms and facilities
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at The Loden. The location was perfect for exploring downtown Vancouver, while the hotel remain on a quiet side street which was a nice respite. The check in and check out process was handled with care and the staff members were all exceptional. While the hotel may have lacked certain amenities and square footage of larger hotels, the care and thoughtfulness from the staff and the small details really make up for it.
Cons: Rooms were very clean but chairs and bedside seating had rips. Minor details but updating furniture and decor could make this stay 10/10.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location close to office party.
Cons: Made reservations too late, so all comparable hotels in area were appreciably over priced, this one included.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great hotel!
Cons: My only issue is with the WiFi, which was spotty at best and sometimes non-existent. In 2019, this is not acceptable, and especially annoying given that I was travelling for work and needed internet access.
Good 6.8
Pros: Great location!
Cons: Felt the staff was a little stuffy; thought the room was OK, wasn't what I expected (for the price). No ice machine?! Had to call for room service to have that brought up every day...? Maybe I'm not used to boutique hotels.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Excellent room, good views and above all very quiet. Staff are very good at their job and friendly and efficient.
Cons: Nothing to dislike. There is construction going on next door but you are unaware of it once inside.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Friendly staff. 4.5 stars - Really nice rooms that are getting near time for updating. I will happily stay there again.
Cons: The guest rooms are starting to show minor signs of wear: HVAC - Thermostat no longer working properly; either high fan (noisy as heck) or no fan at all. Bed - getting very lumpy and needs to be flipped or turned. But overall very nice.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Terrific staff. Quiet and nicely decorated and thought out rooms. Very comfortable.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was amazing, attentive, polite. The room, while on the smaller side, was beautiful; the bathroom spacious and modern.
Cons: The bed was a little slopey but this hotel is gorgeous.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location, cleanliness, friendly professional staff
Cons: Yes I am disappointed with the staff at the Spa . I tried to make an appointment and had questions. Staff was not helpful and accommodating. The time requested was not available and was told that she will call back to update but did not. Unfriendly .
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great rooms and wonderful breakfast
Cons: Desperate selling for upgrade at check-in which is a hallmark of Shangri-La properties globally! Ditch it guys and do it via email
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff was incredible, as was the size of the room.
Cons: The AC was woefully bad; the lowest setting was 19.5c (which we chose), but the room never went below 22.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly staff. And you can connect cell phone to TV
Cons: Only 15 floors
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice hotel overall. Highly recommended
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Shangri-La properties never disappoint us (other than the desperate up-sells at check in). Wonderful staff, great furnishings, great breakfast and drinks/ dinner at Market by Jean-Georges. Will definitely be back.
Cons: The up-sells need to be via email and not in-person at check-in. It dilutes the brand and the staff are not very tactful in how to structure an upgrade offer.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: I loved everything about this hotel. The reception, service, room, dining and location. I had a courtyard room which was lovely and quiet. The hotel is is downtown, but on a quiet street - walkable to shopping, restaurants, etc. Staff was wonderful
Good 7.0
Pros: Beautiful quiet room, high quality bed.
Cons: Lots of little problems add up - broken phone in bedroom, SD TV instead of HD, AC unit gave us all mild asthma. Staff had no peptol-bismol on hand late night and didn't know what it was. I'd had a surgery and was vomiting in the night and needed some.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Check-in was a breeze; rooms were large, airy and clean. It was a great view from our corner suite, and having the ability to open the windows and get a breeze in the morning was lovely. We'll definitely be staying here next year!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Fully equipped kitchen was a rare find for a hotel. Hotel was very secure, including parking. Staff, who worked nights was very friendly and helpful. Gas fireplace to make the place more homey. Good restaurants, shopping and grocery right outside our do
Cons: We got a studio plus den. The pictures on the website didn'te really show how tiny the den was. Just room enough to cram in a twin bed. Our room was at the back of the hotel. Plenty of natural light in the bedrooms but none in the main area.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great Location, excellent size apt for family of four. Central heating excellent. Location on Robson street where all the restaurants are located. Close to shuttle pick up for tours.
Cons: N/A

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location, helpful staff, good value. Cozy and charming property and a nice contrast to the concrete and steel aesthetic of modern Vancouver. Quiet residential neighborhood only walking minutes from central Vancouver.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfast is amazing.
Good 6.7
Pros: Great location. It has a hot tub in the room.
Cons: Room is a bit run down. Sheets didn’t smell like it was washed after previous use. Room is in a basement of a house. It has low ceilings and it looks a bit dark.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing! The location was wonderful.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great b&b in quiet neighborhood but still close to shopping & restaurants on Robson St. Room was clean & staff were friendly. tasty breakfast.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Best 2 night's sleep I have had in forever. The breakfast and presentation pleasantly wowed Me. I was waited on like in a restaurant. Cookies upon arrival and had housekeeping, which I didn't expect...and more cookies!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Absolutely gorgeous house and phenomenal staff. Beautiful breakfast as well. We will definitely stay here again.
Cons: Absolutely nothing, it was perfect
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, location was excellent, but everything pales in comparison to Dennis. One of the kindest souls you'll meet. He never let me walk in the rain without an umbrella (even when I was checking out). He left fresh coffee in my room when I was sick. The common area of the house was always peaceful, with some quiet Christmas music playing in the background.
Cons: The after-hours check-in process assumed the ability to make a phone call. I'm from out of the country and didn't have cell service, so that was a bit stressful. I also really wish there was some sort of desk in the room; it was difficult to get any work done without one. I suspect larger rooms include one.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The quaintness, cleanliness and detail of decorating. The breakfast was very fresh. The neighborhood so peaceful!
Cons: Bathroom could have a few shelves for toiletry bag and to hold shampoo and soap for tub. Pillow was quite hard
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice victorian era home beautifully decorated for Christmas!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Service. Outstanding
Cons: Nope
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Personal service! Every need is met. Each staff member went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it could be. For instance, Chef Nathan, who we met upstairs while looking over the menu, offered to make us special dinners in preparation for our marathon the next day. He led us to the casual restaurant and custom created pasta dishes for us! What a treat! It was delicious! Also, every encounter was greeted with such politeness! The live music was awesome. We were on the street side and it was quiet, unlike another report. I LOVE THIS HOTEL!
Cons: Loved everything about it. Will be back!
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Good location near Canada Place and the waterfront. Walking distance to Gaslamp. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We had an issue with noise due to some late-night partiers and management upgraded and moved us the next day after quieting the offending room. Couldn't be happier with the quality and cleanliness all throughout. The cafes and restaurants were very convenient as well. We traveled with our three young children and everyone was very nice and respectful the entire time, we never felt out of place. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but could see that it was being used by kids on both days we were there. Room service was fantastic and the service was great as well.
Cons: Not much we didn't like. It was a bit pricey but we felt we got great value considering it is a luxury property.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Service, food, bar, comfort, views of the bay
Cons: Pool too small and no life, concierge only so so
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff is excellent- from valet to reception and especially the bartending staff and management. Pedro (front desk) in particular was very professional (and gorgeous!!! is he single?). We had the most exquisite drinks at the first floor lounge. The drinks menu is superb. Room service was prompt and delicious (pizzas recommended!).
Cons: We picked the spot largely because of the outdoor heated pool, which we intended to use in the early evening on NYE. Around 8/9pm when we went, the pool was entirely over-run by a group of families and their MANY children-literally a 1:4 adult to child ratio-doing cannonballs, shrieking and running around, as kids do. The hot tub was entirely populated by this group of people for over an hour. We would have come later in the evening but the pool hours only go until 10pm. Obviously this doesn't reflect on the hotel, as all guests are free to enjoy the amenities, but perhaps the management can look into a 'curfew' for the pool so that adults can enjoy some privacy and quiet.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location to Stanley Park, Staff, lounge with live music, good gym, proximity to everything
Cons: Couldn't extend stay for even 1 hour, everything is pricy
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great rooms. Great location
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Free transportation within the down town, good breakfast, clean rooms
Cons: Despite to large breakfast place the options were limited, I don’t know why they don’t serve high quality breakfast buffet in Canada.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: The staff were wonderful.
Cons: A balcony would be nice
Okay 5.0
Cons: Room view wasn’t as advertised
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff and room nice. Loved the food.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was so helpful especially the concierge!! The room was perfect and really liked the hard wood floors in the room. The bathroom was perfect with a huge walk in shower. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linens were very soft.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This as a lovely hotel in a great location. Pool and gym were amazing. Staff so helpful.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.4
Pros: Location
Cons: Frustrated with Smart TV that never worked even with tablet replaced. Called for help but problem wasn't fixed, wanted to movie at end of day and was unable too.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location on Robson was very convenient. We also liked the spacious room and how the hotel was brand new. Plus the free laundry room was useful for our longer stay.
Cons: The front desk and concierge staff was not as helpful as I would have expected. They did not offer much help when we asked for tourist suggestions or how to get to major attractions. There was also a false fire alarm at night but they offered no apology.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Modern decor...concierge was terrific!!! Very helpful suggestions!! Front desk very helpful as well!!
Cons: Location could have been a little better, but Vancouver is a large city!!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Been coming here for a while, always request the same room if available. I’m either here or at the Listel - I dislike big corporate hotels and like to support local. Gym, steam room and hot tub are a plus, rooms are comfy and clean. Enjoy the business centre! I love coming back here. Love being able to wash my clothes while going tore a swim.
Cons: I could rent about a few things, but may not be complexity their fault. The main downer was a one of the staff (a gentlemen who I only saw in (Sunday’s I think) who was a typical Vancouver jerk. The opposite of everyone else who worked there. They need to get rid of this guy..
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Very convenient location
Cons: Didn’t stay long enough to use the facilities.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The spacious room, the friendly staffs and the cleanliness of the room. The location is good too.
Cons: Although the door of the room felt heavy but it didn’t block off the noises from the hallway. I could hear people walking by the room, all the talking and laughing. I am sure they could hear when I had my TV on too. But other than that, everything was great.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location was perfect to explore Vancouver
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely hotel. Staff were very helpful and room was beautiful. Location is great close to restaurants shops and stadium

Good 6.0
Pros: location was great. Nice clean rooms.
Cons: Disappointed no room service after 11pm. No vending machines on site. No stocked mini frdge. Beds very uncomfortable. Construction noise from next door annoying. Expected more from 4 star hotel
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location in downtown Vancouver. The bathroom was very modern with a rain shower. Very clean and the staff were very helpful. Parking was very convenient as well.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was was exceptionally clean. I especially appreciated the comfy bed and good shower pressure. Location is superb with two Skytrain lines a short walk away and many restaurants in the area (close to both Yaletown and Gastown). Front desk staff was friendly and professional. Very pleased with my short stay!

Pros: Staff and location
Cons: No. Everything was great.
Excellent 9.6
Cons: I wish the parking wasn't that expensive. We booked another hotel close by and we paid $10 a day while here it was $30 +taxes and fees.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The whole experience was excelllent. We had travelled from Australia arriving at the hotel at 1am as our flights were delayed by many hours. So to arrive to a smooth check-in and a lovely room was fantastic.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location is great. Across the street from BC place and a stones throw to Rogers Arena. Lots of stores and places to eat.
Cons: Parking is an additional charge. And on top of that, we got charged a transit levy...we had a vehicle so we weren't using transit. Not very pleased with that. Parking is small...very small. Rooms are nice and updated but not worth the price we had to pa

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Free upgrade
Excellent 10.0
Pros: location
Cons: no coffee maker inthe room.
Good 6.0
Cons: In a world where wifi has become fundamental for communication and information, and is offered for free all over the world because it is an inexpensive way to draw business, the fairmont charges $14 per day. I would have paid if it was just included in the already expensive room rate. As intended, I didn't read the fine print and was shocked to find out I had to go to the lobby to work. I was on a business trip. Also, I had to set the thermostat to 90, the maximum, to warm the room. It was never comfortably warm.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Was an excellent first class property. Hotel bar and restaurant was very good. We ordered a few dozen Kuushi oysters and they were better priced and larger than the sister property down the street. would definitely stay here again. Room comfortable, bed was great. Concierge was one of the best services I have ever used and there was always cab availability which is saying something for Vancouver.
Cons: nothing. The place was amazing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The service was outstanding and my view was gorgeous.
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: Checked in at 5 and told only one room is left. I booked a water view king bed and the actual view is just a portion of harbor and u can only see it at certain angel in the room. The view is disappointing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: LOVED THE Location and loved this Hotel! BEAUTIFUL
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is a beautiful hotel and an exellent place to stay if you are leaving on or coming back from a cruise. The Arc restaurant is wonderful and all of the hotel staff are the best.. Our luggage was transferred to the ship for us which was a plus. The rooms are beautiful with spectacular views of the harbor and Canada Place.. We only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was great and the staff were so helpful.
Cons: I didn't expect to pay for WiFi. Very disappointing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel staff were all amazing! I'd like to call out Tacio Silva Olveira specifically for going above and beyond for my twins' bday. He arranged for a room upgrade and also for some birthday toys.
Good 7.5
Pros: Fantastic location
Cons: Extra charges were unexpected and disappointing, considering the cost of the room....$56/day for parking (this wasn’t disclosed upon booking), $15/day for internet....who charges for basic wifi anymore?!
Excellent 9.4
Pros: We thought that the bellmen were incredibly friendly and personable. We were given a complimentary drink at Arc as it was our anniversary; very thoughtful.
Cons: Didn't like the fact that for a higher end hotel there wasn't free WIFI. Paying $13.95 for WIFI seemed too expensive when we paid over $500 for the night.

Good 7.0
Pros: The rooms were large, the beds very comfortable, included a table and chairs for eating, a microwave and large food prep counter, very well-lit, spacious bathroom. Very helpful, polite staff. Excellent food, great walking trails.
Cons: Website misleading re: meal options for Dec 24-25, only $75 buffet or sports bar menu available for all meals. Very dark rooms, very large food prep area, no sink and few odd assorted dishes. No mention on website that pool and spa both closed those days.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent location and lovely staff. Our room was comfortable and clean. A great extra are the free bikes you can borrow from reception. Highly recommend a ride around stanley park
Good 7.1
Pros: Location, room size
Cons: Old furniture, faulty door
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Room is lovely, bed very comfortable, most of the staff very efficient, polite and helpful. Spacious bathroom with excellent shower. Sitting room very comfortable and spacious, handy close off door if one person is still sleeping. Easy access to skytrain.
Cons: Room was very hot, had to use noisy a/c to keep cooler. Check-in staff did not understand English well and was very confused and confusing. Lovely bar next door but had sports screen on always.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: So many good things about this hotel. Fantastic, friendly helpful staff, great location. Quiet room and comfy bed! Use of YWCA gym and pool facilities next door was great! I will definitely be back.
Good 6.0
Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly at the front door.
Cons: We were in a room directly above the loading zone/dumpster/alley in the back of the hotel. We were woken up by the sounds of trucks loading/unloading, etc at 11pm-midnight, then again at 4am on Sat morning. Nothing like being awake at those hrs w a baby
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The atmosphere was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Greeted us every time we left and came back to the hotel. Concierge service was excellent. Location wonderful. Totally would recommend this hotel.
Cons: There was a spicy scent that was in the lobby that carried through the hotel hallways and in our room. Woke up with a headache everyday of our stay. It would be good to become scent free in the rooms.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location and staff were very good
Cons: The room was a bit cluttered with unnecessary furniture
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with information about local tourist attractions. Free use of bicycles from the hotel was very convenient and enjoyable. Lobby area was very comfortable and functional.
Cons: A hotel bar to accompany the restaurant would have been a nice addition.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room
Excellent 9.7
Pros: very helpful and friendly staff. lovely rooms. good location.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Simone who helped ch Heck us in was enthusiastic about her job and tried to help us every way she could. We arrived very early from a cruise and our room was not ready. She kept us informed about the room. She also checked with the restaurant that we made reservations at to verify the time and made an additional reservation for the following evening. She told us that she was a student in a hospitality and tourism program. I’m sure she will be successful and the Executive Hotel Le Soleilel is very lucky to have her as an employee
