Our flight was delayed. We called to let them know 4 hours prior to our pick-up time. They told us they would only hold our reservation for 1hr (our flight was delayed 2 hours), and after that they'd give it to the 1st walk-in and we'd have to get a car in a first come first serve basis. If we had failed to show up on time for our appointment, I'd completely understand if they gave it away. But we called to let them know we'd been delayed and that we were still planning on renting the car for our 2 week visit!Reviewed 26 Mar 2023

usave is next to the dennys. tricky to get into the area from surrounding roads, pay close attention (we went in the one-way street wrong way on return but this doesnt seem to be a big deal in PR). can get busy in office, often only one staff around. airport shuttle is convenient. car was basic but clean and worked well enough for our week trip (had a maintenance alert on it for oil but the oil had just been changed but alert not cleared according to staff - seemed ok for trip).Reviewed 26 Mar 2023

They gave my car to someone else because I was late to pickup, despite confirming that I would be there and texting the company. Then, even after I had to find another rental car elsewhere, they charged me $50 for absolutely no reason. Their customer service was very lax and unengaged.Reviewed 4 Mar 2023

The pick up and drop off process was good, same as costumer service experience. The only thing is that the car was not really in conditions for rental, it was crashed and have a lot of details. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time when picking up the car. We had a reservation to pick up the car at 12pm and we arrived 10 minutes early. We waited almost 45 minutes to finally talk to the clerk (while only three groups before us were helped) and get started on the rental, which took about 10 minutes from start to finish. It feels like they have a lot of room for improvement, like allowing people to do the paperwork ahead of time when the reservation is placed or having more staff on site.Reviewed 17 Oct 2022

U-Save was pretty much exactly what we paid for. It was very inexpensive compared to the other options ($290 for 1 week), but that came with some drawbacks: (1) The car was fairly dirty and had some dents and scratches (none of which we were charged for though), (2) the car had no wiper fluid, (3) we had an early flight and were never given check-out instructions until we called the day before (not a big deal, but would have been nice to know when we checked in). Overall, I would still rent here again since we just needed an inexpensive set of four wheels to get around in.Reviewed 15 Oct 2022
